Food

But First, Food (BFF) @ PV128, Setapak – Delicious Food. Yumm! (Permanently CLOSED)

If you fancy yourself some good food, a totally value for $$$, a little away from the usual KL scene, then do head over to BFF, cause they really do serve good, tasty food. I was impressed.

But First, Food has position itself within a business complex called PV 128, located a few doors away from Setapak Sentral.

**For some reason, despite being open since November 2016 – it is not tagged on Waze. I tried doing it, if it is there – great, if not – just type in PV128 instead and it will lead you there. Once you are at PV 128, go round the block and you will see BFF. BFF is located on the Ground Floor within the row of shops facing the mainroad, not the back.

The cafe was cosy and spread nicely. It has two floors. If you intend on privacy, then the second floor would fit the bill. Service was really good. Orders are taken by the table. If you are in doubt as to what to order, they are more than happy to assist you. Oo, and did I mention that the Menu came in a different shape – pretty funky, original.

Pan Seared Barramundi, 16.80 ringgit

This was really good, well cooked barramundi. The presentation was fine dining quality, it tasted just as well and it only cost me 16.80 ringgit ? Yay!! What you would get here is a yummy tomato puree on the bottom, nicely cooked brinjal in the middle, topped with crispy on the sides & tender, well cooked overall barramundi. I am truly impressed and truly satisfied.

Chicken Spinash Aglio Olio, 14.80 ringgit

This was another delicious dish. If you are a fan of aglio olio, you would love this too. This dish comes with some flavorful pasta + a pan seared meaty chicken breast.  I loved it. It was light, filling and yummy.

Seoul Sinful Chicken Wing, 12.80 ringgit

This was delicious too but different from the norm. I have tasted Korean Fried Chicken at several eateries – wether its BBQ, Sweet & sour or simply fried, it texture is similar among it all but this chicken here is different? It tasted like they used bread crumbs to coat the chicken? I am not sure but I am not complaining. It tasted good. A lil spicy, a lil sweet. It was tasty.

Would I head here again?

Heck yea, I sure will. Totally loved my experience here and driving into this part of town, worth it.
