**This would be a short post. I was here for a short period of time, just till the rain lessens. It was mostly drinks and a lil bit of food. I am looking forward to dropping by again to give their main dishes a try.
If you guys were around KL yesterday evening, I am sure you experienced the same thing I did – HEAVY RAIN. At that point in time, I was in the car, fully intending to go around looking for some furniture but yea – the rain kindda hindered that from happening. Since I was in TTDI, I figured that would be a great time to pay Aether a visit. It it located right opposite the TTDI Hindu temple, within the Pusat Kreatif Kanak – Kanak Tuanky Bainun building.
** Okays, the image above does not do Aether any justice. My phone had very little battery life left and so before it decides to die on me – I snapped what I could. I will head back to Aether some other time and will provide more pictures then.
I liked the vibe Aether exuded, very cosy and inviting. Especially on a rainy day, this made the perfect cafe to do a lil pit stop. They had their own personal touches at every corner, mainly greens. Greens almost everywhere, not in an overwhelming kindda way but more in a making the whole eatery more cozier way. Nice.
Msytique, 12 ringgit + Americano, 8.50 ringgit
Well, the Americano was well, Americano. Nice, hot and warm. Msytique though, got me fascinated, lol. Just look at that purple beauty. It is basically lavender and lemongrass. If you are a Lemongrass lover – then you’d loveeeee this because the lemongrass sure was the star of this drink. It is the first thing you would taste and the last thing to still linger, as an aftertaste. Not too sweet but really refreshing, certainly an awesome drink on a rainy day.
Scones, 6 ringgit
Just like Mystique is an awesome drink to have on a rainy day, this scone was an awesome thing to munch on when it pours. Tasted like regular scones, plenty of raisins with a sice of butter and jam.
Would I head here again ?
Yes, I would. Looking forward to trying their main meals.
