Decided to pay Rendezbrew a visit again since I was in the area. I had a surprisingly good visit the last time I was there and I was looking forward to an equally good experience this time. I was hungry and lil under the weather, so I preferred an eatery that offers me some quiet and cozyness + yummy food.
My experience, was it just as good this time around, as it was the first time? Yesssss. π
The cafe is warm, welcoming and cozy. It is eazy to relax here with the decent music, dim lightings, plenty of space. It is still one of those under the radar kind of cafes, a hidden gem of sorts. Those who know of it – knows and those who dont, do not. This is a good thing because everyone needs that one cafe that they could go to, one that isnt overwhelming with people and noises, well, Rendezbrew is that cafe for me in this part of town. It also is a lot less ‘masculine’ than it was before, lol. If you guys have read my previous post on Rendezbrew – Rendezbrew @ TTDI β Not bad at all. , you would understand why. I like it, very much. Ooooo, and the good food they offer, reasonably priced good food – what more do I need?
This is my second time here and I noticed that they have added and removed some items. The ‘Salad’ tab is gone and they added in ‘ Sandwiches’. Yay! Saw ham & Cheese toastie as the first item listed under that tab and since I loveee them toasties, I decided to go for that.
Ham & Cheese Toastie, 25 ringgit
This is one of those dishes whereby what you order is what you get. I wanted ham and cheese, and that was what I got, except the one here came with a generous amount of cheese and ham. Boy, I was bouncing like a happy kid. Lets start with the bread – buttery and toasted to the right amount, hard on the outside and soft on the inside, with warm buttery taste and add in ham and cheese, delicious indeed. It is a simple yet filling, wholesome sandwich. Certainly worth a reorder.
Seafood Aglio Olio, 19 ringgit
This was another yummy dish. Fettuccine doused with olive oil, pepper and chili flakes + clams+ prawns + cheese garnish. It was oily, spicy, chewy, cheesy all in one, basically a flavorsome plate of goodies. Loved it.
Would I head here again ?
Yes, I most certainly would. They serve good food, priced affordably with a cozy environment. why not, ey?
