Having been around for just 5 months, this new hip and modern eatery has been steadily garnering attention for the delicious food and cozy atmosphere they offer. When I say delicious, I mean it. As in delicious in a way that you are unknowingly induced to order yourself an additional main dish simply because you could not resist the deliciousness of the dishes you’d already tasted. Yup, you just keep wanting more.
Anyways … lets just get into it, shall we?
Two Hands is located within Qliq Hotel. Know where that is? It is located right next to Empire Damansara. I parked within the mall itself and walked over. It took me barely 5 minutes to crossover, which wasn’t bad at all. No sweat.
Nice, ey? I must say, for a relatively small space, they did a pretty awesome job in making it look fancy, chic and cozy. I liked it very much.
The dishes they serve here are mostly Western with Asian influences.
Pesto Chicken on Toast, 16.36 ringgit
What I had pictured in my head when I ordered this dish was the usual 2 pieces of bread, with a large portion of chicken slices/chunks and a generous spread of pesto, all arranged sandwich-like. What I got though was something entirely different, lol. It was delicious nonetheless. It basically came with slices of grilled chicken breast topped with homemade pesto sauce + tomato confit + scrambled egg, served on a slice of toasted wholemeal bread. It may look filling but it was not. Considering how yummy it tasted, I gobbled it all up within a few minutes only to want more.
Chilli Shrimp Fried Rice, 21 Ringgit
This was da bomb. Really delicious. My friend ordered this dish but I could not stop helping myself after my first spoon. As soon as you cut into the egg, the yolk runs out and makes everything in its part gooey and warm. Then, you would notice about 4 pieces of large prawns submerged beneath the egg and rice. The on its own was delicious. A Perfect mix of spice and heat. The gooeyness as a result of the runny yolk only made it all the more tasty. I loved it.
Thai Green Curry, 18 ringgit
This was a pretty unique experience. Why? It was served in a tiffin. How awesome is that? It literally came in a tiffin, the waiter then separated the compartments and served it to us. Anyways, if you are a fan of Green Curry, please do give this a try. It is in every aspect green curry, with a twist perhaps? I do not know what the twist it but it was delicious. It had all the flavoring that comes with green curry, except it was thicker and spicier? It was different but tasted exactly as it should be. It came with generous chunks of tender chicken bits + egg + rice. Man, by the time I was done, I most probably weight as much as a hippo. A satisfied hippo, lol.
Would I head here again?
Most definitely. I had a positive wholesome experience here – awesome place, delicious food. Certainly worth coming back to.
