I got to say, their customer service was good. Everything was done efficiently fast. As soon as we sat down, they gave us the Menu to look through. 5 minutes later, they came by and guided us through it. First – it started with whether we wanted individual plates or sharing, we opted for sharing. Next question was whether we wanted a char siew/ siew yok and/or chicken/ duck combo, we opted for a char siew and chicken combo since neither of us like the crispy pork and duck meat. Next, was the usual number of plates of rice and whether we wanted soup and etc.

If you guys do not mind sharing, then just go along with their suggestion because let me tell you – both the meat were delicious and it lasted all the way till the last spoon of rice. I do not know about you guys but when it comes to chicken rice and me – I usually end up gobbling all the meat half way through. Which often means that I still have half a plate of rice but not much meat left. Here however, there was enough meat to last me till the end. I was soooo contented, burp!

The Char Siew was da bomb! Sweet, sticky, chewy with just the right amount of fats – ooooo man, it was delicious. The Chicken was meaty, juicy and tender. The Bean Sprouts was well,  as bean sprouts should taste and the soup… all their soups are double boiled apparently. They start off by cooking the broth with bones and letting the flavors soak in and then mix the other ingredients in. So, at the end of the day, you would get thick, flavorful broth as oppose to the usual watery, thin soup. Yummy!

Would I head here again?

It certainly is worth a return. However, since it took me close to 25 – 3- minutes to get there, I guess I will most probably return only when I am in the area, which occurs rather rarely. It sucks, but yea.
