While we were out and about, about few hours after lunch, dessert craving hit us. Since Kohi Yatta was literally by the busy road that we’d be on on our way back to Petaling Jaya, why not drop by, right? After all, it has been more than a year since we last paid them a visit.

Still looked the same. Big and spacious. That was one thing I liked about this cafe – the space. It is big enough for you to find you own corner without having to worry about privacy. This comes handy especially when you are on your own.
Our options here for dessert were pancakes. Rather than the usual pancakes, we decided to give their oat version a go. I’ve never had these sort of pancakes before and was looking forward to it. The fact that it is ‘oats’ – healthier. Need I say more?

Compared to the usual fluffy pancakes, the oat version is compact? Just imagine a burger patty, it is compact, pressed together into shape. The oat pancake were like a burger patty, thick and compact, unlike its counterpart. If you have a full stomach, best give this pancake a miss. Unless you are sharing, of course. Well, that was what I did. Had rice for lunch, was still full but craved for a little something sweet. I ordered this oat dessert, good thing I was sharing it with friends, or else I would not be able to finish it on my own.
The flavors were different. The oat pancake itself had a distinct taste, rather pleasant. Topped with cinnamon apple. Now, this tasted like apple crumble but without the crumble. Add in the sweet, creamy flavor of Vanilla ice cream. A rather unusual mix but delicious nonetheless. I enjoyed it.
Would i head back here?
Yea, whenever I am in the area, would keep Kohi Yatta in mind.
