As the heading says – this eatery is perfect for that much needed breakfast and brunch fix, especially on weekends. Imagine a sunny, windy day out on the terrace, munching on some good, tasty food, yapping away with friends or simply enjoying some time alone, people watching, passing time and watching the day go by.. nice, ey?
This eatery is located on the 1st floor. At the entrance, you would see a note guiding you to the lift that would lead you to it.
Yea, I know we use the lift every other day, everywhere but still, it was quite exciting 🙂
Big Breakfast, 18 ringgit + Set Lunch (Honey Garlic Chicken), 22 ringgit
The Set Lunch included soup of the day – Mix Vegetable Soup + Drink – Fresh Watermelon Juice + Main Dish – Honey Garlic Chicken. For just 22 ringgit, the set lunch was a good deal. The Honey Garlic Chicken consisted of 2 pieces of tender grilled chicken (drumstick and thigh) with wedges and salad on the side. I liked the gravy on the chicken, it was sweetish, oily, buttery and flavorful all in one and it provided the meat with a good “ganache” of sorts, every bite you take, there is a mix of flavors. It was yummy.
The Big Breakfast was good too. I liked my eggs runny and while I do inform the waiter of my preference, it is most often delivered imperfectly. Here however, they got it right 🙂 yay! On the plate, there were also 2 pieces of tasty chicken sausages, 2 chicken slices, hash brown, sweet potato mash, toast with a side of salad. It certainly is not the most fancy looking Big Breakfast out there, like the ones you’d come by at cafes, which would cost you 25 – 30 ringgit but if you want simple dish with a variety of items and taste awesome + does not even cost you 20 ringgit, then do give this dish a go.
Would I head here again?
Yes, I certainly would. As I mentioned earlier, it is a good place to pass time, especially on a weekend. I’d be back.
