Dessert shop in a house desserts Ice Cream

The Puntry by Pun’s Ice Cream @ Seputeh – Gimme more of that yummy ice creammmm !!

I cant say I’ve heard of Pun’s Ice Cream, have you ? It apparently is a local, homegrown brand that has been around for almost a year now ? What got me excited though besides the ice cream, was the fact that this dessert shop – The Puntry, is located in a house. How cool is that? It definitely is not something you would come across everyday.

It is located along Jalan Robson, right next to Robson 7, Robson Court and is barely 5 minutes away from Mid Valley Megamall with easy access via the Federal Highway.

I certainly think it’s conveniently located. I was at work in Bangsar South and I skipped lunch due to some overdue assignments. As I started getting hungry around teatime, I got online intending to see what was nearby – something new, something good and that was when I came across The Puntry.

Based on what I saw, it was not only ice cream that they serve, they also had things like pasta and waffles. Speaking of waffles, I saw pictures of their Chicken Waffles – the ones that comes with fried chicken on the top and waffles on the bottom ?? Yes, those …. I was planning on sinking my mouth into that delightful dish and getting myself a scoop of ice cream for dessert. I was hyped up, all excited and mighty glad that it took me only 10 minutes to get here – only to be told that they do not serve lunch on weekdays, only ice cream. Oooooh bummer.

So, do take NOTE. On weekdays, Wednesdays to Fridays, ONLY the Ice Cream options are available. During the weekends, lunch is available. You can look forward the items in the Menu displayed below. Sometimes, they are closed for private events, tasting party and etc. Do keep yourself updated via their Instagram page : Pun’s Ice Cream.

I am definitely returning, on a weekend, to get myself acquainted with some of that chicken & waffles with maple syrup = The Chiffle.

As for this particular day, there may be no Chiffle but there is ice cream and I plan on doing some indulging, even if its just a scoop.

There were 6 flavors to choose from (I cant recall the names) and 2 of them – Berry? and Smores, are crowd favorites. Since I am not a fan of anything berries related, I opted for Smores.

Smores, 7 ringgit (per scoop)

Yuuuuuummmmmmmmmm !! That is all I have to say about Smores. It was da’ bomb. It was decadent, milky, pleasantly sweet and a tad crunchy from the nuts in it. I liked it so much that I plan to get a whole tub of it when I visit them next.

Address: No. 5, Jalan Robson, Seputeh

Opening hours: Wed – Friday, 11 am – 5 pm. Saturdays: 11.30 am – 10 pm. Sundays: 10.30 am – 4 pm.

Signing out now, Ciao.
