Curry Mee Fried Kuay Teow

Girl & Mommy Famous Curry Mee @ Chan Sow Lin Food Court – Yummy curry meeee!

Yes, we are finally here. I know several of you guys suggested that we go try the curry mee here and I am sorry that it took us this looooong to give this a go but yea – we finally did.

I usually send my car to the Volkswagen service center a few doors away and buy my favorite cheese tarts at W Mart – which is located almost opposite of this food court but I somehow missed its existence. Perhaps because it has a ‘hidden’ element? It is not obvious, not one of those eateries that are big and by the roadside, blatantly obvious for everyone to see. Nope. There is a short small road to head into and then you’d see it. It is mostly hidden unless you make an effort to look around.

We arrived for brunch, around 11 am to a mostly empty food court. This was good news because we got to take our time and look around, try one dish and then give another one ago. For lunch, they apparently do get pretty busy, so, good thing we arrived early.

Curry Mee, 7 ringgit

Yup, this was yummy! It came with plenty of pork skin + siew yok + cockles + fried beancurd + tauhu and rich, creamy gravy packed with flavor. Oooo da bomb. I was slurping and slurping it away. The siew yok, when you leave it in the gravy long enough, the meat sort of gets soaked in it, when you eat it – oooo delicious. I can see why this curry mee is famous I truly enjoyed this bowl of delicious goodies. Will certainly be back for more.

Fried Kuay Teow (small), 6 ringgit

We were still hungry after the curry mee and so we decided to look around to see what else was interesting. Eventually, we landed on the fried kuay teow. It was not the best but it was pretty decent. I have been craving for this particular noodle dish for a while now and this dish definitely satisfied my craving.

Would I head back here?

If I am in the area, then yesssss, I would.
