We were in Bukit Jalil for a meeting and once that was over with, I decided to head on over to Sri Petaling – last I recalled, I enjoyed The Rice @ Sri Petaling – Ooooo yum!! Baked cheese rice 🙂 and was looking forward to trying out the other items they offer. As I was driving pass though, I noticed Super Ramen, located a few doors away. I’m all up for noodles n so, Oklah, Super Ramen it is for today.
These guys are basically Super Ramen by Ru Di Fook. Ru Di Fook was a fancy Wan Tan Mee joint in Kota Damansara that closed doors not too long ago and I must say, I was glad these guys pop up again. I did enjoy the food they served at their previous establishment and was looking forward to the same thing here.
Pork Katsu Curry Ramen, 26.80 ringgit
I like them Japanese curry and so it wouldn’t be much of a surprise that I loved this dish. It sure did come with plenty of that thick, flavorful gravy. The fried pork katsu was crispy, chewy, provided a contrasting texture to an overall soupy dish. Once the katsu gets dipped into that curry, it gets a lil soggy but it sure was delicious. There was a nice portion of ramen, some pickled vegetables and potato cubes. Overall a good wholesome dish.
Would I head back here?
If I am in the area, why not. Perhaps I’l give one of their rice bowl a try next.
