I decided to drop by Muse again because while driving passed it the other day, I noticed that they now have an extension? a bubble tea shop, which was not there when I first visited them early this year. I wasn’t looking for anything to eat, already had lunch elsewhere but a dose of bubble tea would be refreshing.
Upon enquiring about what’s popular, I was told that their White Rabbit Bubble Tea is a crowd favorite. As you can see from the images above, White Rabbit is a white starchy, sugar laden sweet that kindda played an important role in my life, growing up. For a year or two, it even made the Top 5 list of my favorite sweets, the child me that is .. and so, I decided to go for it, go down memory lane, perhaps.
White Rabbit Bubble Tea, 13.90 ringgit
Okay, if you want White Rabbit – that is exactly what you’d get here. It was potent. The bubble teas we usually come across are a tad or somewhere watery, right? Not this one though. Imagine peeling off them wrappers and taking tonnes of those white rabbit sweets, putting it onto a heating pan and heating it till it melt. Whatever liquid that comes from that is what is served to you. So yea, imagine that, it sure was potent. Thick, milky, sweet.
Would I order this again? Ummm, perhaps I would go for something milder – the Unicorn Milk Cha option perhaps. I’d still get to taste the white rabbit because that is used as a topping but the rest would be a milk tea mix , I’d perhaps enjoy this blend better. I have discovered that while I like chewing on them, drinking white rabbit in liquid form was quite an experience, one that lead me to discover that in liquid form – I like just a few sips of it, not the whole thing. It was too potent for me, lol. If that is the case with you too, then you do not have to finish it all up in one go, space it out. Would love to give the Unicorn Milk Cha a try next. I still cannot resist a taste of them white rabbits.
I got to say, it is nice to know that my favorite sweet is readily available now, whenever I fancy. Considering the rarity of those sweets nowadays, sipping the liquid form isnt too bad at all, ey?
** Took the liberty to snap the food Menu as well, in case you guys are interested.
When I walked through the doors and entered Muse, it literally smelled like Kentucky Fried Chicken in there, which got my mouth all watery, tongues wagging. A number of tables ordered some fried chicken dish that looked really tempting. It sure looked crispy, juicy and yummy. I think I’d be back here soon.
