Foo Hing Dim Sum @ Bandar Puteri Puchong – Tasty Dim Sum

I got treated to some dim sum today, yawwwww ! Good, tasty dim sum. I completed my project with flying colors and so the big boss decided to feed me πŸ™‚ According to him, Foo Hing Dim Sum is one of the best in this part of town. I am not one to hang out in Puchong much, which means that my knowledge of the area and the awesome food it offers are limited. I was curious though and did what I usually would do when I’m heading to an eatery – I look up the ratings and reviews on Google. From the looks of it though, it seems like lots of people agree with my Boss’s sentiments. It is highly rated.Β

As you can see, this isn’t one of those old school kopitiams that offers you dim sums for breakfast and dinner, no. This is a proper restaurant, a large one. It is well spread out and if I’m not mistaken, they occupy a few shop lots. The feel in here is similar to the popular dim sum chain – Jin Xuan Dim Sum. It is big, lively and filled with people. However, Foo Hing differs in terms of branches, there is none except for the one branch in Puchong. I guess its fair to say that the authenticity is retained and maintained here ?Β

Here, it works the same way as it works at most dim sum shops whereby they’d bring over a few trays filled with yummy goodies and you pick whichever options you fancy. Despite being crowded, food arrived pretty quickly. It is all heated up nice and well, however, it would seem that some items like the raddish cake are prepared before hand. I suppose with the large number for lunch crowd, it is understandable and acceptable. While I prefer it steaming hot, the cool version is no less yummy. Food is good, that is for sure.Β  I ate like a pig, lol, ate all the dim sum I could possibly want and crave. Yum! I wouldn’t know if what my boss said was true, that this is one of the few good dim sum shops in this part of the city, as I myself haven’t been to many but tastewise – it is goooood.Β
