We were totally clueless as to where to have lunch at today and so, we did what we usually would do – find some recommendations online. At that point, we were on the LDP, from Paradigm Mall heading towards Damansara Uptown and we looked up suggestions within the surrounding areas nearby – Taman Bahagia, Taman Megah, SS 2 and etc.
Despite severalĀ options available, the one that caught our eye was My Little Herbal Tea. Why? Firstly because they offer a variety of herbal tea, which I was in dire needĀ of to aide me in getting ridĀ of my sore throat and secondly, they apparentlyĀ serve really good siew yok curry mee – based on the reviews I’ve read. Thirdly, theirĀ overall rating on Google seemed rather high, almost 200 reviewers with an average of 4.2/5.
…. and so, off we went to My Little Herbal Tea.
Menu
Bentong Ginger Jelly, 6.40 ringgit + Ginger Tea (500 ml), 4.30 ringgit
The Bentong Ginger Jelly may be just a jelly but it sure was potent. Every spoonful you have, you’d be able to taste the ginger. If you look above, at the image in the middle – you’d be able to see the bits of ginger in the midst of the jelly. Literally tiny, mini cubes of Bentong ginger scattered allĀ over. It definitely was a ‘kick’ to my system and exactly what I needed for my throat.
The Ginger Tea was equally as good. It was not too diluted and the taste of ginger was evident, strong.Ā
Roasted Pork Curry Mee, 11.50 ringgit + BBQ Pork Noodle, 8.40 ringgitĀ

I decided to order the Roasted Pork Curry Mee because I’ve read several reviews online raving about how good it was. Was it ? Yesssss! Really good. The noodles used were not the usual kind. Here, all their noodles are the thin version of wan tan mee. The curry was rich and thick, not too spicy. It came with an egg + 2 pieces of fuchuk + 4 tauhu + long beans + 2 large pieces of brinjal. Then, there were the generous portion of siew yok, which was very nice. The top was brown and crispy, then inside was firm and chewy. A good addition to the mee. The dish as a whole was awesome! In this case, I’d have to agree with the online reviewers, this was really good, worth every penny.
The BBQ Pork Noodle was yummy too. The texture of the noodles were great, the BBQ pork was all lean meat – chewy with a lil sweetness. The dish as a whole was good. If you want something that is not too filling, this is the dish to go for.
I’d certainly be back here. There are several other dishes and herbal tea I’d like to try.
