We had a meeting at The Hub today and when that was over with, it was just in time for lunch. After walking around for a bit, we noticed a few new additions to the area and one of them was DuJour. When it came down to it, it was either Nasi Kerabu at DuJour or one of those rice bowls at Mei by Fat Spoon, we opted for Dujour because come on – who can resist Nasi Kerabu? Certainly not me lah.
Menu
Nasi Kerabu Kelantan, 23 ringgit + Chocolate Chip Muffin, 7.90 ringgit

The Nasi Kerabu includes a large piece of tender, juicy chicken thigh + ulam + fish crackers + salted egg. It had all the makings of being an awesome dish if it were not for one small detail – the percik sauce/gravy. What usually would be thick and a lil sweet, is missing the ‘umph’ factor here. The texture is good, the flavor/taste needs some tweaking. If that is gotten right, then this would have been a good dish. Overall, despite the slightly bland percik sauce, once everything is mixed, you’d get a nice mix of textures and flavors. Depending on how you like your sauce, this may be a good dish or a satisfactory one.
Before concluding my visit here, I decided to indulge in some dessert. They offer a selection of cakes, tarts and pastries. Upon enquiring what’s popular, I was referred to the Chocolate Chip Muffin, which I opted to try. It was yummy. If you loveeeee chocolate, then this muffin would do it for you. Not only would you get a nice sprinkle of chocolate chip + nuts + chocolate ganache on the top, there is a nice, generous dose of that ganache in the middle and all the way to the bottom of that muffin …. sooo good!! Yum! The muffin itself was nice and dense, I can’t really tell what flavor it was – vanilla? Well, I was too busy enjoying the chocolate, lol and I kindda overlooked this detail but the combination of it all was real good. I ate up every single bit of it.
