I finally met up with my sister a few days ago, a long overdue meet. Between work and the coronavirus outbreak, lets just say that it has put a dent on our weekly meet up. This time, on the rare occasion that both of us were free at the same time, we decided to catch up while indulging in some desserts.
Lucky Koi, 18 ringgit + Earl Grey Boba, 12 ringgit

We initially wanted to try their ice cream selection, perhaps get ourselves 2 scoops each for 14.90 ringgit but unfortunately, the cooler wasn’t working and so, that couldn’t happen. What a bummer, these guys have a rather unusual mix of ice cream up for grab, it sucked that we couldn’t indulge in that.
Eventually, we opted to try one of the dessert on display, specifically Lucky Koi. The combination of ingredients in this specific dessert (oolong rice ice cream + peach sorbet + goji berry muesli crunch + lychee glaze) was appealing and yummy. There was a burst of flavors and textures – the tanginess from the berries, the crunch from the muesli and the unique sweetness from the creamy ice cream. We enjoyed it.
Both of us shared the Lucky Koi and considering its small size, it was no surprise that the plate was empty within 5 minutes. Not satisfied yet, we decided to add on the Earl Grey Boba. It was a fancier version of the usual Earl Grey milk tea we see around when we buy bubble tea. The one here is definitely milkier due to the ice cream + milk mix and more potent in taste, which I really liked because I loveee the unique flavor of earl grey. The Golden boba was bouncy and not overwhelmingly chewy, just the right amount of chewiness. It was a nice drink to conclude our time here.
