Bamboo Carrot Chrysanthemum Ginseng Curry Mee Dry Ban Mee Herbal Tea Kopitiam New 2020 Open Daily Open during MCO Red Bean Soup

Good Luck Kopitiam @ Taman Connaught, Cheras – Yummm 😍

Now, with a more relaxed MCO in place, I decided to take a drive to Cheras to get some pet supplies. One inportant thing I learned during MCO is that if you have any pets other that dogs and cats – you are screwed. Sooo much trouble just to get the essentials and if you got yourself a fussy one.. well, good luck, pal. Lucky me, despite ‘merajukking’ due to the absence of pellets, mine eats raisins, lettuce and fruits or else, my life would have been way more difficult than it is.

Anyways, after getting some supplies, I decided to have lunch at this five month old kopitiam in Taman Connaught. As you guys know with Kuala Lumpur (KL), you can dine in at the eatery now, no more Self Pickup and Delivery only.

The kopitiam looked nice. It occupies a corner lot and you’d be able to recognize it from its’ pale green exterior. Due to it being a corner lot, it is big and well spaced out, has indoor and outdoor seating. It exudes a pleasant, somewhat old school feel.

Food was delicious. Me likeeeeee. The Curry Mee broth was milky and flavorful. The type of noodles I opted for was mee hoon and it was provided in a good portion. Besides that, this dish also came with 3 medium pieces of chicken, several cubes of potatoes and long beans. It has been months since I’ve had Curry Mee and having tasted this was simply divine 😍

The Ban Mee was yummy too. I love it when a dish comes with a generous amount of toppings and such was the case here. There was a nice portion of flat noodles with minced meat + anchovies + seaweed. Mixing it all up and then eating it was lovely. I enjoyed this dish.

The Red Bean soup was an awesome dessert. It wasn’t too sweet and had plenty of red beans in it. I liked the fact that they includes some orange skin in it and by doing so, it allowed for a more refined flavor. Loved it.
