It has been about 2 years since I’ve last indulged in the crepes here. Here, as you guys know, they have both sweet and savory options available. I usually forego the savory ones because crepes to me are meant for dessert, lol.
Just a few days back, my friends decided to order lunch from this cafe and they were adamant that I give their savory crepes a go. They insisted and guaranteed that it will be yummy and big enough that I most probably wouldn’t even be able to finish the dish. Reaaalllyyyy? π€π€ Well, okay then. No harm in trying, right?

Uncle Salmon, 28 ringgit
What I expected was a crepe with little filling or at least one that is not enough to fill me up for lunch. That usually is the impression I get whenever I order crepe desserts. So, the savory can’t differ much from the sweet, right? Wrong.

Oooo, I was wrong. This was no ‘just crepe with some filling.’ Here, there was plenty, a generous portion. There were medium pieces of salmon + creamy sautΓ¨ mushroom + spinach + sweet potato fries. I personally wouldn’t have thought of this combination because I honestly wouldn’t put crepes and fried together but hey, it worked. It was yummy. The crepe and its filling worked really well together. I guess my friends were right, the crepe taste good and it also fills you up.
Quarter Chicken with 2 sides, 20 ringgit

My friends ordered this dish and decided to share between the two of them. For a quarter chicken, you’d get a big, juicy piece. So, it made sense why they were sharing. I wouldn’t be able to finish it in my own. The meat was well seasoned, juicy and tender. The 2 sides they opted for were fries, 2 different kinds. Overall, it was a tasty, wholesome dish.
