Toast Bar @ Taman Paramount, PJ - Ooo my, I am in Toasties heaven 😍😍 (Permanently closed)

I was told that the toasties served here were da’ bomb and upon trying them – Yesssss!!! I agree wholeheartedly. If you loveeeee this kind of sandwiches, be sure to give Toast Bar a try.

My friend, who happens to live in the area, informed me of this eatery, a recent pop up in Paramount Garden. It is conveniently located within the same row, just a few doors away from one of my favorite dessert cafes – Fluffled – Fluffed Cafe & Dessert Bar @ Paramount Garden – Yummy, delicious waffles 🙂 (Pork free)

She was raving about how good the food was, affordably priced too and was adamant that I give it a go. So, fast forward a few days later, here I was.

The MVP, 15 ringgit + The Super Mama, 15 ringgit

Guys, here they do not use the usual plain white bread but in its place is Brioche yawwwww. Light, fluffy, airy and buttery, it was simply divine to munch on.

As you can see from their Menu, their price point is super affordable. You’d get choices between the range of 6 ringgit to 15 ringgit. I decided to go with two of their best selling dishes which cost 15 ringgit each – the MVP and Super Mama.

The toasties, ooo they were stuffed to the max. You’d literally have to stretch your mouth to consume a bite, just like you would a burger. My lipstick was all over the place by the time I was halfway through but it sooo worth it. Simply delicious, I couldn’t resist.

Super Mama’s main star is the pork belly. It was chunky, chewy and flavorful. There was also scrambled egg, which was cooked just the way I like it, accompanied with cheese, cabbage and parsley. Yummmm 😍

The Super Mama was yummy but between the two, I loved The MVP. In some ways, it tasted like a burger, like the ol’ school Burger Ramly. It doesn’t hit you immediately but every now and then, it appears and you’d think ‘Is it just me or does this sandwich taste like burger at times?’ … because it does. I loved it. The pork ham and bacon was flavorful and tasty, accompanied with scrambled eggs well done, garlic, cheese, cabbage and parsley. Add in the buttery brioche, oooo da’ bomb. Finger lickin’ good, yawwww.

I’d be back for more. That’s for sure. Burp!!
