I’ve been seeing some of my friends and random strangers on social media visiting CREAM and regularly tagging this cafe in their photos. It looked nice and so I thought why not pay them a visit, ey.
If you are in this side of town and in the look out for a nice place to chill and pass time, CREAM may suit you just fine. I basically found a spot in the corner, ordered myself a cake, got my laptop on and managed to get some work done.Β I liked that there were potted plants/greens all around the cafe, it made the whole experience even more appealing.

** This cafe is rated to have GOOD COFFEE. So, if you are a fan, do give it a try here. I did not because I was craving for dessert and to me, the overpowering taste of coffee will simply mess with the overall taste of my cake. Will definitely give it a go during my next visit.
Pineapple Carrot Cake, 15 ringgitΒ
If it wasn’t due to the fact that I’ve just had lunch, I would have given their bagels a try. I had banana leaf rice and as a result, I was stuffed. Despite that however, I couldn’t resist dessert. At that point in time, there were only 3 options of cakes to choose from, I decided to go with the carrot cake. Just an hour later though, a new batch of cakes arrived at the cafe, offering more variety. So, the limited options were more to do with timing than it actually being limited.Β
The cake was rather unique but only becauseΒ I’ve never had a carrot cake with pineapple added into the mix. Initially, I thought I’d be getting a mix between sweet and salty tangyness but nope. There were different kinds of sweetness in there, all with just the right amount. Add on the cream cheese on the top, you’d get the distict taste that only a carrot cake would provide. The texture was light, yet dense and moist. A yummy dessert.
