Bindi Cottage Cheese Good vegetarian food Indian Long beans Paneer Tawa Masala Sizzler Vegetarian

The Ganga Cafe @ Seapark, PJ – Yummmm 😍

Okay, while I am a hot blooded, 7 days a week meat eater, every once in a while, I’d like to ‘hantam’ vegetarian food. Why? Certainly not for the vegetables, lol but for the cottage cheese and the soy products they use to replace meat. If done right, it is yummy yawwwww.

This is why I find myself at Ganga once or twice a month, just to get my dose of vegetarian food. Ganga along Lorong Kurau, Bangsar that is. I always thought that was the only outlet until I discovered this one in Seapark. I guess they opened another branch last year, good for them. This was not a planned visit, no. It was one of those things I accidentally discovered while driving past. I decided to drop by and check out if their Menu is the same and if it was, I was going to try a dish I’ve been wanting to try ever since I saw another table order it during my last visit to the Bangsar Branch.

You can go for the mix rice option if you are in the mood, otherwise skim through the Menu for other options.

***The Menu is the same at both branches.

Tawa Masala Sizzler, RM 35

Yup, I saw this dish being served on the table next to mine during my last visit and man, it looked delicious. Its large portion size made it impossible for me to eat on my own and so, I decided to give it a go this time because I had my friend with me.

This dish is meant for 2 people. 2, if both of you are really hungry, 3 peeps if you guys need just a little bit to fill up your stomachs.

Ooooo man, this was delicious! Da bomb!! I would not mind having this dish again and again. It was wholesome – yummy and filling. The dish is made up of long grain spiced rice + a large portion of cottage cheese / paneer in buttery gravy + bindi / ladies finger + long beans. Both vegetables came with its flavorful dry gravy. It was an absolute delight indulging in this. Sooo good. As this dish was shared between 2 people, each of us paid RM 17.50. It was worth it. Soo delicious. I’d certainly be back for more.
