I’ve heard good things about the Mamak Mee served at Saleem’s Stall. They’ve been featured in the local newspapers ….
… and my friends who have tried it said that food was delicious.
This was my third attempt visiting Saleem in hopes of trying their noodles. Here, they sell out fast. While their operating hours may be till 4 pm, they usually sell out by 1 pm. So, this time I made sure to drop by and order by 11.30 am.
Saleem is located outside Restoran Sin Lai Ping.
As the stall is located by the road side and parking is often difficult, alot of customers tend to drive by, stop directly next to the stall, place their order and drive by again after another 15 minutes to pay and collect. As there is no place or space to hang around at the stall, doing a drive by is perhaps the best option, unless you do not mind waiting around😊 Alternatively, you could call them and place your order, pay when collect. Although during peak hours, there is no guarantee that they will pick up the call. There are only two individuals working at the stall – one cooks/makes the dishes and the other is in charge of taking orders.
Mamak Mee, RM 7 + Pasembur, RM 7
Oooo man, this was very delicious, literally finger lickin’ good. For RM 7, you’d get a large portion of noodles – filled to the brim. You’d get lots of noodles, tauhu, crabcakes, squids. This is literally one of the best mee mamak I’ve tasted in a loooong while. I’ll definitely be back for another visit.
The Pasembur was another hit. Again, for RM 7 , you’d get a large portion size. Lots of crackers, prawn fritters, crabcakes, tauhu, turnips, cucumber, egg and the peanut sauce was a tasty addition. Once all is mixed, the Pasembur was yummy.
