This is not a food review. This is just a short review on the latest opening in Bangsar South, emart24. I am sure most of you guys know this but to those who dont – emart24 is Korea’s fastest growing convenience store and it has open its first outlet in Malaysia – right here in Bangsar South. I am sure many of you guys are fans of literally anything Korean, so here goes.
emart24 is located on the Ground Floor of Wisma TouchNGo, in The Horizon.
Since its opening, it is quickly becoming a crowd favorite. I guess to those of us living in KL, we do not have to drive over to PJ/Damansara to visit Korean marts anymore since we have one right here. So, there you go, this is pretty much what emart24 looks like and all the things they carry. I think I’d like to give their Vijude hair dye in Ash Brown a go. Lets see how that works out 😉 and oh, I got myself some tortilla chips…
This cost me RM 5.90. I do not think I’ve ever had tortilla chips served in a Mister Potato long-ish container. Usually, it is served in a packet, right? Tastewise, it was pretty nice. Different texture due to this being tortilla – more rougher, thicker and solid, each chip had plenty of cheesy flavor.
I also bought this Tuna Cheese Bun for RM 3.50. There was surprisingly little tuna, it was just focused on the top middle part. The cheese covered the whole top, so that was good. More than half of the bun was plain but I liked this plain bun because it tasted like milk bread? Soft and moist with a slight sweetness to it.
