It has been ages since I’ve last had some Thai food and I’ve been craving it for a while now. A friend suggested that I give Thai Luck a try if I am in the area. According to him, food here is tasty and affordable. A quick check on Google showed that people generally liked them. Their average Google review score was 4.2/5 from over 240 folks.
It sounded good to me and so, off I headed to Thai Luck.
Stir-Fried Holy Basil Minced Chicken with Rice, RM 12.90
The portion was generous. With this being a set, I expected a smaller portion but nope, the portion is as it would be ala carte. It tasted awesome – a little spicy with lots of flavor. Lots of mince chicken, plenty enough to last till you’re done with the rice. The set also includes a piece of fried chicken + salad + lemongrass drink. All in all, this was an affordable, yummy lunch set.
Tom Yum Chicken with Rice, RM 15.90
This is perfect for you if you want a single serving of tom yum. Usually, with other restaurants, it comes in a large portion – for 3, 4 pax. Here, they offer single servings. It came with a good portion of chicken with brinjals and some greens. The tom yum soup had a good taste to it, not too spicy and not too watery.
Overall, food was good and affordable with generous portion size. If I am in the area and in the mood for Thai food, I’d revisit Thai Luck.
