This was our second attempt at visiting this new, one month old restaurant. We visited Bestow around 1.30 pm the first time and was told that minus one item, the rest of their lunch menu was sold out π±π±. On top of that, waiting time was 45 minutes till the dishes were available again. We were somewhat flabbergasted because … lunch was sold out by 1.30?? Huh?? What?? However, considering they were just 2 weeks into business at that point and our waiter was honest and up front about the whole thing, we thanked him and told him we’d be back for another visit soon.
Soon was two weeks later and this time for brunch. Happy to say that they have improved. We arrived an hour before brunch ended (12 pm) and all items were still available. Yay!! It was also a good time for a visit as the crowd just started picking up.

Bestow occupies 2 floors. The ground floor is pretty much where everyone sits. However, if you require a setting more private and quiet, upstairs would be ideal for you.

*** There is NO WIFI here for customers, which sucks. They accept all methods of payment – Cash, Credit/Debit card, online and QR Pay.
Parking: Depending on your time of visit, parking may or may not be difficult. During breakfast and brunch hours, you may be able to get yourself a parking spot by the roadside. Otherwise, there is an open carpark just two doors away at a cost of RM 6. Alternatively, Berjaya Times Square is literally right in front of you, less than 5 minutes away. You could always park in there and walk over instead.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Chicken Ham, RM 15 + Mediterranean Baked Eggs, RM 28

The Mediterranean Baked Eggs a.k.a Shakshouka was yummy. You’d get a combination of poached egg, mushrooms, eggplant, chicken ham with tomato stew served in a claypot with a side of sald and two sliced of bread. In my opinion, more slices of bread was needed. The 2 slices we received were hardly enough to eat with the shakshouka. In short, there was lots of Shakshouka, little bread. Luckily, we also ordered the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. We ended up using the halves from the sandwich which made up for the limited slices. Alternatively, you could also get youself an extra serving of Sourdough Toast at a cost of RM 5.

The Grilled Cheese Sandwich comes in 4 pieces. The bread used was sourdough. It provided a slightly salty-ish taste to the sandwich overall which was ππ. The sandwich filling consisted of Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese with Chicken Ham. It certainly was a filling dish, I enjoyed it.
Would I be back here? This would be a nice place to hang out with my friends. The ambiance/setting makes for a good place for a catch up session. Food unfortunately lacks variety and so, it may not be everyones’ cup of tea. Add in the absence of WIFI which means I wouldn’t be able to get work done. That sucks but yea, I would not mind dropping by during tea time. Perhaps get myself a slice of cake and a glass of iced chocolate while enjoying the ambiance.
