I came across this new restaurant while on my way to have lunch at one of my favorite eateries in Uptown – Capital Nasi Dagang Kelantan. The Nasi Dagang Ikan Tongkol is da’ bomb here. Ooo yummm π … Anyways, I came across this Chinese restaurant, located just a few doors away and on my way out of Capital, I stopped by to check out their menu. As soon as I saw Wan Tan Mee and Char Siew Rice , I knew I’d be back here very soon to give Twins a go. It has been a long while since I’ve enjoyed a good plate of this particular noodles and was looking forward to it.

Menu

Triple Combo Rice, RM 13.50 + Char Siew with Noodle, RM 9

Food was good. The Wan Tan Mee consisted of a portion of char siew set on a bed of thin, springy wan tan noodles. The pork meat was tasty. It was somewhat sweet, succulent with an equal ration of meat to fats.
The Triple Combo Rice included a serving of 3 types of meat. My choice of meat was a combination of char siew + roast pork + roast duck. The other available option was soy chicken. I opted for duck instead because this restaurant’s name clearly suggested that duck was their signature. I however very rarely eat duck. So, all I would say is that it was tasty, chewy but tasty. The roast pork had the usual crispy outer later with chewy meat.
Would I head back here again? Yes. This is a simple, no frills restaurant. You’d know what you are getting here. Wan tan mee, rice with a selection of meat and vegetables. Service was good and food was served quickly. I am pretty sure there are a number of other eateries in the area that serves similar dishes. However, if you fancy a change of scenary, do consider this new restaurant.

Signing out right, Ciao.
DU or DJ? Seems like DU from website links but the title header of your post says DJβ¦and on first sight, I was wondering where it was (ie whtr it was in Atria or KDU area).
It was an error on my part. You are right. It is located in Uptown, Damansara Utama, not Damansara Jaya. Thanks for pointing it out. Sorry for the confusion.
