Sistars Kitchen @ Happy Mansion, Seksyen 17, PJ - Yummmm 😍😍

Every once in a blue moon, I’d do a short drive thru through Section 17, simply to check out if there are any openings that I missed. I like the area, it’s a good blend of old and new.

As I drove past Block C of Happy Mansion, I came across Sistars Kitchen. They have apparently been around for almost a year … how did I miss this?? 😮😮. The concept is similar to Kwong Wah Ice Kacang. While they are still as popular at their new location as they were at their old one, there was something unique about being located at Happy Mansion – the feel, the ambiance. So yea, seeing another eatery offer similar variety here, I was excited to give it a try.

Mee Siam, RM 6 + Nasi Lemak with Chicken Rendang, RM 9.90 + Cendol, RM 5.80

Food here was goooood. The cendol arrived first. 😍😍😍😍

The cendol was ooooooo yum. It had the right amount of shaved ice to gula melaka, red beans and those green rice flour wormy jelly thingy. An awesome dessert to have on a hot day. Loved it.

This was one good plate of mee siam. More often than I’d come across a plate of mee siam that is mediocre, at times even resembles mee hoon goreng. This one here was delicious. The taste, the spice, lemongrass infusion … it was yummy. 👌👌

Nasi Lemak was good too. I loved the chicken rendang. It was flavorful. The chicken juicy and tender. The sambal was onion sambal as oppose to anchovie sambal. It suited the overall dish well. I would have preferred it to be a bit more spicy buy hey, it was tasty regardless. Yumm..

Would I be back here? Yes I would. I loved the food here. Worth a revisit.
