One of the latest additions to the food scene in Damansara Jaya is Itek Itik. Barely 2 weeks old, its name speaks for itself .. it is all about the duck meat here.
The restaurant was pretty spacious. It included 2 shoplots and occupy a corner unit.
Parking was rather difficult. After going round the block three times and failing to come across any empty spot, I opted to park in Atria (First hour free, subsequent hour: RM 1). It was a 5 minutes walk to Itek Itik from the mall, no sweat.

I arrived at 12.45 pm and was hoping to have some Kolo Mee only to be told that the whole noodle section was not available. Okay. Since I was on my own for the day, I figured that I’d give their ‘Set Meal’ a try. It was a tad misleading because it does not come with any drinks, as a Set Meal usually would. Anyways, I was interested in their Nasi Lemak Curry Itik/Ayam, only for once again to be told that it was not available because the rice was still in the midst of being cooked. Its 12.45 pm, well within lunch hour .. and the rice is still cooking? Haiyaaaaaaaaaaaa. In the end, I opted for Curry Chee Cheong Fun and since it cost me RM 27.50 … it better be good or I’ll be bloody pissed. Oooo and guess what? For drinks, I wanted Lemongrass Pandan … not available. Barley Lime …. not available. At that point, I decided to forego drinks because I was getting irritated.
Curry Chee Cheong Fun with Roast Duck, RM 27.50
Well well well, food was tasty. I enjoyed it. This dish comes with a serving on noodles with curry + tauhu and potato with a quarter serving of duck meat. If you are a fan of roast duck, then you’d enjoy this dish because it came with loooottttsss of meat, I kid you not. Usually, I’d be able to finish meat that I am served but this one here was an exception. I simply couldn’t stuff myself anymore than I did. There was quite a lot of meat on that 1/4 duck. The curry was delicious, thick and flavorful. It was a perfect gravy to eat with the Chee Cheong Fun. Overall, it was a good dish with ample of duck meat.

I am sorry, when u came we were very new still finding our balance as for the noodles not being available because we planned to launched it during our grand opening. I apologies we will do better. Please do come back for another try we now have everything available. I am glad you love our ducks we are very proud of it.
