Take A Bow at The Sphere, Bangsar South - New kid on the block (Pork free)

Take a Bow by Thirdwave is one of the latest additions to the food scene in Bangsar South, just over a month old. Located at The Sphere, on the Ground floor, beside Sunbather Coffee, this cafe is fast becoming the latest hang-out spot on this side of town. Considering I work in the area, I’ve passed by this eatery numerous times but decided to give it some time to settle down before I drop by. Based on the impression I got while reading reviews left by customers on Google, they were still in the midst of getting the hang of things, at soft launch stage. So, I figured it would be best for me to drop by a little later. Fast forward a month, here I am.

I dropped by on my own, as I was in between meetings. There were both indoor and outdoor areas. I opted to sit inside as I needed the coolness from the aircond.

Parking: I parked in The Sphere basement carpark at an hourly rate of RM 2. This cafe has WIFI.

At the time of my arrival, just after lunch hour, the cafe was half full. People come and go here and so, the crowd does move rather quickly, in and out. I for one, needed a place to get some work done on my laptop while I eat lunch and this cafe offerred me that. Customer service was good, I was attended to as soon as I sat down.

Tuna Toastie, RM 30

This was one filling dish. I thought I’d eat the sandwich and then order a dessert if I am up for it but nope, it was not possible with this dish. It will fill you up. This toastie consist of buttered and lightly toasted focaccia bread with a spread of tuna, artichoke, mozzarella and a fried egg. It was simple yet delicious.

Would I head back here? Yea, why not. As I work in the area, this cafe is conveniently located. A good spot to have lunch while getting work done. I also look forward to giving the other dishes a try.
