Dessert Cafe Dessert cafe in SS15 Hidden Pistachio Biscoff Roll Pork Free Subang Jaya

That Last Slice at SS15, Subang Jaya – Oooo desserts 😊 (Pork Free)

I visited this 3 years old dessert cafe recently in SS15 and I liked it. It’s existence was brought to my attention by a friend who lives in the area. Well aware of my dislike of the main SS15 area that is often a mess of people and cars, he assured me that That Last Slice was located away from the area I am not a fan of, where traffic congestion is not a norm. Parking was a whole lot easier and less of a mess overall. Well, upon hearing that – I was soldlah.

The cafe is located within the row of shops opposite the road from Subang Parade Mall. It is somewhat hidden as there is no large signboard to make its existence obvious. So, do keep a lookout for 7 Eleven, as above it is where That Last Slice is (first floor). Headed by Ms. Aishah, this dessert spot started off as a home business in 2009 and as of 3 years ago, has expanded into a physical shop.

It is a pretty small space. There is the kitchen, where they do their baking. You’d be able to see the bakers in action. Then, there is the counter and pastry display area, followed by 5 tables for customers to sit at. At the time of my arrival, it was relatively quiet. Besides some folks who opted to takeaway their desserts, I had to whole place to myself.

Pistachio Biscoff Roll Slice, RM17

The Raspberry Cheesecake Tart was one of the popular items here but I decided to go with this roll instead. As I am a fan of both Pistachio and Lotus Biscoff, naturally I’d gravitate towards this particular dessert. Oooooo, they sure were generous with the Biscoff because there was a pretty big portion of it. I was bursting with joy. 😁😁😁

If you are one of those that eat layer by layer, you’d be able to taste pistachio immediately after eating the green layer, followed by a layer of light cream and biscoff. If you are like me and prefer eating your dessert top to bottom in each mouth, the biscoff is what you’d taste primarily, especially when you dig into the mid section. The taste of pistachio is more subtle, muted down. I loved it. Ate the whole slice all by myself.😁
