Cakes Chocolate Brownies Dessert cafe in Bangsar Jalan Kemuja Kooky Cream Bangsar Pork Free Toasties Triple Cheese Sandwich

Kooky Cream at Jalan Kemuja, Bangsar – Desserts & Toasties 😁 (Pork free)

This was a accidental discovery. There I was fully planning to head to Lisette’s and after a few rounds around the block, ended up getting a parking spot just a few doors away, which coincidentally was right infront of Kooky Cream.

** Kooky Cream is located along Jalan Kemuja, Bangsar, within the same row as Lisette’s and Lankan Crab. If I am not mistaken, this is the same spot that was previously occupied by Transparent Coffee, towards the end of the row of shops.

This was the first time I noticed this dessert cafe. It apparently has been opened since last year. I’ve used this particular road a few times a month and did not notice its existence untill now. How is that possible? Anyways, I’ve been to their first outlet at The Hub SS 2. If you are a dessert lover, then it’s highly likely you’ve been there yourself. While that outlet is almost always fullhouse, the Bangsar branch is quite the opposite. It is quiet and serene and most importantly – bigger in size. An obvious contradiction to the other outlet. Between the two, I personally prefer this spot. There are plenty of places to sit, all tables and chairs are well spaced out. Their popular cakes are also available here, not all but enough to provide a variety. This makes a perfect spot for some ME time.

** There is NO WIFI here.

Ooo yea, I like this particular Kooky Cream. Regardless of wether you visit alone, in pairs, small or big groups, there is a spot for you here. The ambiance was awesome.

Menu

Triple Cheese Toastie, RM17

I decided to indulge today and so, I ordered their Triple Cheese Toastie. There are 2 choices for bread: Brioche and WholeWheat with Honey. The WholeWheat was sold out by the time I arrived. As I am a fan of Brioche, this was no hardship for me. The toastie was made up of a combination of 3 cheese: Mozzarella, Cheddar and American. It was tasty. The soft, buttery brioche with gooey cheese and a sweet undertone. Yummmm.

Chocolate Brownie, RM9

The brownie had a solid thin crust on the top, soft and dense on the inside. It was not too sweet and the taste of chocolate was evident. It was a nice dessert and I look forward to trying the cakes next.

Would I head back here? Yes, I would. I like the ambiance and food was good too.
