The bunch of us had a work meet in KLCC that ended just around lunch time. Since we were already in the area, I figured it would be a good time to give Bray Bakery & Cafe a try. Located just 10 minutes away from the twin towers, in Menara See Hoy Chan is this cafe that serves specialty sourdough among other things and since I am a fan, this was a good time to drop by.
**** There is NO WIFI here.
Parking: There were plenty of parking spots in the basement carpark within the building itself and it was affordably priced.

Walking through Menara See Hoy Chan to get to Bray Bakery was rather exciting. It has been a loooooooooong while since I’ve walked through an old office… the long corridors, the eerily quiet walkways and etc ππ A total contrast to a modern day version of it.
There are 2 lobbys here : Lobby 1 and Lobby 2. Bray is located in Lobby 1. Once you’ve parked, taken the lift up and if you ended up at Lobby 2, there are signages there to lead you to lobby 1. Keep a lookout for that. You’d just need to walk through a corridor and eventually you’ll see this sign.

Fried Chicken Masala Open Toast, RM 34

Ooooo man, this was sedappppp. It comes in a large portion size and is best enjoyed on an empty stomach. The fried chicken was tender and soft, chewy. The taste of masala was evident with every bite. I was happy with just the chicken alone but add in the brioche sourdough with hummus + peas, mozzarella … yea, a delicious open toast indeed. Besides the toast, the dish also included salad and a good portion of potato wedges. I usually am not a fan of wedges but this one here was pretty good. It was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside but the most interesting bit was the sprinkle of sugar on the top. It was surprisingly appealing on potatoes. Overall, this was a good dish.
Eggplant & Zucchini Shaksouka, RM 29

Compared to me, my friend preffered something a little more healthier and the shakshouka was an awesome choice. It was flavorful, had plenty of zucchini and eggplant. It was good enough to eat on its own as well as with the sourdough toast that came on the side.
