We recently had lunch at this restaurant in Kota Damansara and thought that the food was tasty and authentic. Sukniyom is pretty new to the scene, at just 4 months old. It is located on the first floor and parking was relatively easy thanks to it being located on the less busier side of the always congested part of Kota Damansara.
The dining area is rather small, occupies half the shop, with 6,7 tables of varying sizes. The design of the space is nice – modern, comfortable. As small as it is, it certainly provides a private setting.

Chicken Thai Basil with Rice and Egg, RM 15 + Prawn Pad Thai, RM 18.90
Food was tasty and authentic. I especially like the Chicken Thai Basil with Rice and Egg a.k.a Pad Kra Pow. The minced chicken sure was spicy despite removing the red chillies it came with. It sneaks up on you 😅 Four, five mouths in and all of a sudden, it hits you and you will be scrambling around for ice water. I loved it, it was a much desired level of spicyness and having it with the egg and rice was yummy. Overall, a satisfying dish.
The Prawn Pad Thai included 3 medium sized prawn and a good portion size of sweet, slightly spicy noodles. I liked that they served the peanuts on the side with the chili flakes. People with peanut allergies can rest easy. This was a pretty good dish.
