Chicken Satti Sorru Good Satti Sorru in KL Hidden Indian food in Bangsar Maggi Satti Remix Open Daily Pork Free

D Brothers Claypot at Bangsar – Delicious Satti Sorru 😍 (pork free)

My friend recently told me about this hidden gem in Bangsar that serves really good Satti Sorru. As I am a fan of this dish, I took note of it. Fast forward a few days later, here I was.

D Brothers Claypot is located in Lucky Garden, within the same row of shops as TMC Grocer, specifically towards the end, next to TMC Warehouse (liquor/wine store). I’d consider the restaurant hidden as it is located on the FIRST FLOOR. I for one rarely walk till I reach the liquor store. Almost always, I head in and out of the grocer, get into my car and drive off. So, by myself, I likely would not notice the existence of this restaurant.

PARKING was easy. There is an open carpark just outside this row of shops. I parked for 2 hours and it cost me RM 2.

PAYMENT: They accept cash and QR Pay (Maybank) here.

Menu

They also serve appam here – Mohan Appam. There are a choice of 16 appam variations available.

Chicken Satti Sorru, RM 17

Chicken Satti Sorru

Ooooo man, this dish was very nice. The rice was perfectly cooked and flavorful, packed with spices. Yes, it was spicy but that is the beauty of this dish. Spicy and oh so flavorful. There were 4 – 5 pieces of chunky chicken. Soft and tender it was. I liked this satti sorru, satisfying indeed.

Maggi Satti Remix, RM 18

Maggi Satti Remix

This dish I ordered because someone raved about it on Google review. The review was so positive that it influenced me to give this dish a try πŸ˜…πŸ˜… …. i’ve no regrets in doing so because it was deliciousssssss!! It resembled maggie curry but many times better. Besides the noodles, there was mutton, chicken, prawns and sotong. This dish exceeded my expectations. I loved it.

Both the dishes here were delicious. I look forward to heading back to D Brothers Claypot very soon for another dose of satti sorru 😍
