I’ve driven passed Say Yes several times the past few months and have consistently seen it being crowded during lunch hour. This time, I decided to drop by for a try. This cafe with a kopitiam-feel has been around for more than a year and is located opposite Starling Mall. This is convenient because parking by the roadside is almost impossible during the day as empty parking spots are difficult to come by … unless you intend to double park. So, I ended up parking at Starling Mall instead. Lucky me as it was reasonably priced – first hour free, second and third hour cost RM 1 each.

As mentioned previously, this cafe has a kopitiam feel to it. During lunch hour, do expect plenty of chatters, conversations overlapping one another. I liked the busy atmosphere. The best part however was how fast they delivered all the dishes we ordered. Within 8 minutes, all our dishes were served. I was impressed.
Menu

Chee Cheong Fun (Set), RM 9 + Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Berempah, RM 11.40 + Roti Bakar with Butter & Kaya, RM 3

Food here was good. We started off with the Nasi Lemak because many reviews on Google suggested the dish. Apparently it was delicious with fragrant fluffy rice, tasty sambal and yummy fried chicken … and yes, it was spot on. The Nasi Lemak was gooooood!. I loved the fried chicken and it sure was ‘berempah’. From the first mouth in, you’d be able to taste it. That with the tasty sambal, kacang, egg and coconut rice made up a delicious dish.
The Chee Cheong Fun was way better than expected. I was amazed. I certainly wouldn’t mind ordering it again. You’d get 2 choices for this dish – the normal option which includes the noodles + gravy or the Set, which includes omelette, fishcakes and fuchuk in addition to the noodles + gravy. Do give the Set a go, it is worth it and filling enough that it can be considered a main meal. Yummm!
We ordered the Roti Bakar because we noticed many table ordering it. If it wasn’t the Roti Bakar, it was either the Roti Kukus or Croissant with Butter and Kaya. It was good too, with a generous amount of kaya, crunchy and sweet at the same time.
Would I head back here? Yes, why not. Food was good.
