Dolce Vita Ristorante & Pizzeria at Nexus, Bangsar South – New kid on the block (Pork free)

I noticed this restaurant on my way out of Starbucks at Nexus. Located just a few doors away, on the Ground floor, is this new Italian restaurant – Dolce Vita. Compared to the rest of the eateries there, this one here look fancier, grand 😁

** Dolce Vita is run by the same folks behind Portofino and Five O’clock Brasserie

Menu

** Dolce Vita does not only serve pizza. Besides pizza, they also offer a selection of Italian starters, pasta, meat and dessert.

** Wine Menu is not complete. I got too tired of snapping photos πŸ˜…

Prosciutto Cotto e Funghi, RM 46

This is a 14 inch oven baked pizza that comes with 8 slices, thin crusted. It was refreshing and surprisingly easy on the stomach, not too filling.

The Prosciutto Cotto e Funghi is a thin crusted pizza that includes DOP San Marzano Tomato, DOP Fior di Latte Mozzarella, Italian Smoked Ham Turkey, Fresh Mushrooms, Basil, Pecorino Romano Cheese, Evo Oil. Overall, the pizza tasted nice. It wasn’t as heavy as I expected it to be. We had 4 slices each between us and it was just right, nothing to overwhelmingly full. However, we did skip breakfast that morning, so the pizza was both breakfast + lunch for us. The topping were a good portion, I especially enjoyed the smoked turkey ham. It’s distinct smokey taste together with the tomato, mushroom and basil, provided a yummy combination.

I had a good time here, lunch was a rather enjoyable experience. I look forward to another visit, perhaps I’ll try one of their pasta or Baked Barramundi Fillet with Sabah Clams.
