I’ve been hearing lots of good things about Park’s Bagels, figured it is now time I gave it a try. As its name would suggest, this Korean cafe serves mainly bagels. A variety of them. So, if you are a bagel lover, you’d certainly love it here as you’d be spoilt for choice.
The eatery is located on the CC level of Tropicana Gardens Malls, within Gourmet Paradise. It includes a group of 15 – 20 eateries located in one designated area and Park’s Bagels is one of them. Parking was a bliss here, plenty of parking spots available and all that at a rate of RM 1 for first 3 hours.
*** You can choose from one of the choices available on their Menu or create your own bagel combination. They offer 8,9 types of bagels with a variety of cream cheese fillings.
Tuna Bagel Sandwich, RM 24
I went with the Tuna bagel sandwich because I was short of time. I needed to get back to my laptop as soon as possible and so, taking my time in making up my own bagel sandwich was not possible at that moment. I will create my own on my next visit though.
The bagel sandwich included an Everything Bagel with a spread of tune, tomato, onions and lettuce. I did not include any sauce because I wanted to eat it by itself, on its own. It reminded me of a healthy subway sandwich, with bagel instead of bread. AS simple as it sounded, it sure was filling. The bagel sure was something. In a lot of cases, when I bite into a bagel elsewhere, it often feels like my teeth is going to break apart. I kid you not. The roll is hard and tough. Here though, the bagel was soft and dense. I enjoyed biting into it by itself. With the Everything option of bagel, you’d get a generous sprinkle of seeds – white, brown and black in color. Sesame seeds? I enjoyed it. When eaten together with the tuna, it was even better.
Would I head back here? yes, I would. Looking forward to creating my own bagel sandwich next time.
