It was a challenging day for me. Earlier that morning, I laid my beloved pet bunny to rest. Throughout the day, I found myself in a state of vacant detachment. As evening approached, it occurred to me that I have not eaten anything the whole day. Knowing that most nearby cafes and restaurants closed their doors by 10 pm, and their kitchens even earlier, I decided on a fifteen-minute drive to Uptown. Given the abundance of dining establishments in that area, it was likely that I would come across ones that close late.
As expected, Uptown was bustling with people. I drove around the block a few times in hopes of coming across a cafe that is quiet or atleast one with little customers. With my somber mood, that was a setting I needed. Eventually, I came across Indulge.

I must admit, when I first came across this cafe, it was the quiet setting that drew me in. I was the only customer at that point in time and had the place all to myself. It was only after I was seated inside the cafe that I looked through their menu and was delighted to find that they served waffles here. Desserts make me happy and it was exactly what I needed.
Indulge offers a pleasant dining experience with a focus on waffles, pancakes, and other delectable treats. Unlike many other establishments that primarily serve cakes, Indulge stands out for its specialized menu. This culinary gem provides a delightful solution for those seeking a satisfying and indulgent meal.
Customer service was good. There was a couple and if I am not mistaken, the man is the chef and the lady handles the front. While they afforded me ample personal space, the little interactions I had with them exuded warmth and a hospitable atmosphere.

Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffles, RM 28

The culinary experience was delightful. The boneless chicken had a tender texture and possessed a tasteful level of spiciness that harmoniously appealed to my palate. It offered a nice blend of flavors and aromatic spices in every mouthful. I thoroughly relished the dish and consumed it rather quickly. Complementing the chicken was a trio of waffles, exhibiting a crispy exterior coupled with a dense interior. These waffles were equally enjoyable when savored individually or when drizzled with the accompanying maple syrup.
Overall, I had a positive experience at Indulge. I appreciated the serene and peaceful ambiance, as well as the yummy waffles I ate. Would I be back here? Yes, I certainly will. I look forward to trying more items from their menu.
