More than a few people have mentioned this eatery to me and the good food they offer. It is a no brainer to figure out what their star dish is as it is right there in its name. The Nasi Lemak here apparently is delicious and it might just be one of the best nasi lemak in PJ.
The restaurant is located in Oasis Bandar Utama, within the same row of shops as the popular RaRa Coffee – RaRa Coffee at Bandar Utama, PJ – Aesthetically pleasing (pork free). There was limited parking within the vicinity. Especially during peak hours, you may have to go around the block a couple of times before you come across an empty spot. Atlernatively, most people end up parking by the roadside.
We arrived at 12 noon, just half an hour after the establishment opened its doors for the day. To our surprise, the venue was completely filled, with the exception of a high table next to the window. As a result, we chose to be seated outdoors instead. Initially, I had concerns about the possibility of it becoming hot, but those worries were quickly dispelled upon noticing the strategically placed fans. Combined with the natural breeze, the atmosphere remained pleasantly cool and refreshing.

Mee Siam with Curry Chicken, RM 15.90
This was a satisfying plate of noodles. The Mee Siam itself was a simple yet delectable dish. The distinct flavor of lemongrass was discernible, just the way I liked it. Consuming it on its own was indeed satisfactory, but the addition of the sambal made it yummier. One can opt to savor the noodles on their own, or, as we did, accompany them with a serving of chicken curry.
The curry presented a thick, creamy texture and a delightful burst of flavors. It consisted of five succulent pieces of chicken meat. The pleasure derived from savoring the curry by itself was heightened by the addition of noodles, elevating the dish to an entirely new level of satisfaction. Delicious!
Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng, RM 15.90
Ooo, this was truly satisfying. Nasi Lemak Shop certainly knows what they are doing, as the local dish they are named after was incredibly delicious. The chicken was full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. Its exterior was crispy, while the inside remained warm and dense, making it a perfect complement to the rice. I particularly enjoyed the generous amount of crispy crumbs that added a delightful texture to the dish. Moreover, the sambal provided a slightly spicy kick with subtle hints of sweetness, resulting in a truly enjoyable culinary experience.
Would I head back here? Heck yea, I would. I love the food, both dishes ordered were delicious. Enviroment was pleasant and customer service was good.
