A café is not what immediately comes to mind when one thinks of Amcorp Mall. Although there exists a list of eateries for dining, cafés are rather uncommon. Hence, discovering 385F Café proved to be an unexpected delight. My visit to the mall was prompted by a last-minute grocery trip to NSK, and after procuring the necessary items, I found myself feeling hungry. Just as I was ready for lunch, I explored the Ground Floor and stumbled upon the café.
385F Cafe is a relatively new establishment, having commenced operations in the mall three months ago; however, this is not their first rodeo. Prior to relocating to Amcorp Mall, they operated successfully in Damansara Heights for three years. Due to an increase in rental costs, in addition to several other contributing factors, they made the strategic decision to move here. The cafe is situated on the ground floor of the mall, next to Kafe Ruuma, in a corner. It is easily recognizable thanks to its distinct grey theme.

Menu

Cinnamon Roll, RM 13, Chicken & Egg Sandwich with Fries, RM 20 + Chicken Pesto Pasta, RM 22

We began our dining experience with dessert while awaiting the arrival of our lunch. As a fan of cinnamon rolls, I felt compelled to sample this particular offering. It proved to be quite enjoyable, featuring a warm, soft pastry characterized by a bread-like texture and a generous portion of sweetened cinnamon.
The Pesto Pasta was reasonably priced. In many cafés today, the pasta alone typically costs an average of RM 20, and with the addition of chicken, the dish often totals RM 28 to RM 30. Here, at a price of RM 22, one receives not only a delectable pesto sauce but also a generous portion of boneless chicken breast. With an ideal balance between olive oil and pesto, this dish is quite commendable.
The Chicken and Egg Sandwich featured a crispy chicken thigh, enhanced by a delightful crunch from the breadcrumbs in which it was coated. It was complemented by sriracha mayonnaise and served on bread. The portion size exceeded expectations and proved to be quite filling. Additionally, the dish included a serving of fries.
All three dishes we tried were delicious and satifying. I look forward to returning to 385F Cafe during my next visit to the area to explore additional delectable offerings from their menu.
