Located just a few doors away from the well-known Indian restaurant, Lotus Family Restaurant, is the newly established florist cafe. Officially opened just three days ago, this cafe represents a new venture by Lotus Group in collaboration with popular coffee and brunch cafe, VCR.
As soon as you enter, you will be greeted by the florist, presenting a captivating array of beautiful flower arrangements. Upon proceeding further, you will encounter the cafe, offering a variety of delectable dishes and beverages.

Classic Chicken Sandwich, RM 23
As I desired a sandwich, I chose the Classic Chicken Sandwich. The dish consisted of buttered, toasted sourdough bread filled with shredded chicken and mayonnaise, accompanied by pieces of avocado. The chicken had a subtle sweetness that complemented the slightly sour taste of the sourdough. If one seeks a dish that will not fill your stomach to the brim, this sandwich would be an excellent choice.
Chocolate Tart, RM 15
I was most definitely spoilt for choice here when it came to dessert. They had a variety of cakes, tarts and pastries available here. After some thought, I decided to giving their Chocolate Tart a try.
I enjoyed it. The base of the tart consisted of a delicate layer reminiscent of biscuit crumble. On top of this rested a generous layer of chocolate with a bittersweet flavor, topped with a portion of thick, sweet chocolate cream. The taste, overall, is delightful. It presents a harmonious blend of sweetness and bitterness, making it an ideal dessert for those who appreciate sweet but prefer not to indulge in overly sugary treats.
All in all, I had a positive experience here. As I am a regular in the area, I most definitely will return for another visit to this florist cafe.
