In recent years, Damansara Kim has experienced a notable transformation. Formerly a tranquil and relatively obscure neighborhood, it has evolved into a bustling hub for food enthusiasts in this area. Consequently, numerous restaurants have chosen to establish their presence here. Amongst them is Wonderfu, a recent addition to the culinary scene.
The interior was rather vibrant and refreshing. The white wall with its fading red effect was particularly striking, lending itself well to photography. The seating arrangement was thoughtfully spaced out, providing ample comfort and the flexibility to accommodate large groups. The standard of customer service was good and food arrived rather quickly, within 10 minutes upon order.

Wonder Pork Pot Rice, RM 23 + Fury Chicken Curry, RM 20 + Sweet & Sour, RM 12
As the day was unbearably hot, I chose to opt for an iced beverage rather than water. In particular, I selected the Sweet & Sour drink due to its combination of ingredients – Oolong Tea, Mango, and Pineapple. I anticipated a refreshing drink that would tantalize my palate, and it certainly delivered. The mango and pineapple were expertly blended, offering a harmonious balance of sweetness with a subtle hint of sourness. This drink can be described as delightful, as sipping on it was truly enjoyable.
The Wonder Pork Pot Rice is part of their Wonder Claypot Series. Given my fondness for claypot rice, choosing this dish was an obvious decision. The large portion contained rice, egg, braised pork, and pickles, resulting in a delightful flavor reminiscent of the traditional dish. This included the characteristic slightly charred rice at the bottom of the pot, which some are fans of. Overall, it was a delicious experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.
The Fury Chicken Curry belongs to the Fury Curry Series and stands out as a bestseller, particularly appealing to noodle enthusiasts. In this rendition of the classic Curry Mee, the flavorsome outcome is highly commendable. Featuring a choice of three noodle options, we selected the wan tan mee (Tok Tok Mee), which paired exceptionally well with the curry. The curry, richer and more intense in flavor than the typical curry mee, was particularly delightful. While the curry alone was satisfying, combining it with the noodles, meat, and long beans elevated the experience even further.
There is no doubt that I will return to the Wonderful Restaurant in the near future. The food was delicious and I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to dine there again.
