Aesthetically pleasing Asam Pedas Linguine Chicken Burger F&B and event space F&B Event Space Large & Spacious New restaurant KL October 2023 Open Daily Pasta Pork Free

Blossom A GlassMansion at Imbi – A restaurant in an ol’ school mansion (Pork free)

Blossom, which opened just two days ago on 12th October, is currently in its Soft Launch phase. Housed in a Colonial Era building, this establishment seamlessly combines elements of the past with contemporary aesthetics. With its generous dimensions, abundant natural light, and a tasteful blend of white walls and brown brickwork, Blossom’s interior is sure to captivate visitors and entice them to pay a visit. Thanks to the expansive space, spanning several floors, it made sense that they also made part of it an event space. Surprisingly tranquil amidst the vibrant buzz that surrounds it, this area exudes a sense of comfort that is complemented by its nostalgic ambiance.

** The restaurant is located within the same area and a few doors from several other popular eateries – Blackbixon Cafe and BoiBoi.

Parking: Within the vicinity of the mansion, ample parking is available, making it convenient for visitors. This outdoor parking space extends into the next property, providing ease of access to customers. The actual parking rate is RM 10 but if you visit Blossom, there is an RM 5 discount. When you are settling your bill, do also pay for parking. Once done, you’ll receive your bill, with some added scribbling to indicate that you’ve paid. As you are exiting, do show the bill to the parking attendant as proof of payment and you are good to go.

Menu

Chicken Burger, RM 28 + Asam Pedas Linguine with Pan Seared Barramundi, RM 33

Chicken Burger

The burger was tasty. I particularly savored their housemade chicken patty, which was thick and juicy, accompanied by delightful flavors. A slice of cheddar cheese adorned the patty, enhancing its tangy and subtly bitter notes. Complemented by freshly sliced onions and a medley of greens, the resulting combination was truly delightful. The burger buns were described as brioche, but I found their appearance and taste to be reminiscent of the usual charcoal buns. Despite this, I enjoyed the dish, which also included a side of fries and salad.

** For some weird reason, they do not have any sauce other than mayonaise here. 😱😱. No chili sauce and no tomato sauce. I must say, this has to be a first for me. A restaurant with no sauces 😅. Perhaps it was first day jitters and not a permanent thing.

Asam Pedas Linguine

This dish, unfortunately, fell short. The pasta was undercooked and thus resulted in a texture that was harder and chewier than expected. However, I must admit that if it were not for this issue, the dish itself would have been quite delicious. The Asam Pedas flavor was undeniably present, beautifully complementing the pan-seared Barramundi and creating an overall appealing culinary experience.

**As we settled the bill at the counter, the cashier politely inquired about our satisfaction with the meal. Seizing the opportunity, we informed him about the undercooked pasta. The cashier assured us that he would relay our feedback to the management. We remain hopeful that he fulfilled his promise and didn’t overlook the matter.

Despite the pasta blunder, everything else was good. For an eatery that just opened doors and is only a few days old, I think they are off to a good start. Would I head back here? I do like the ambiance. For that alone, I’d revisit if I am in the area and in the process, give the other items in their menu a try.

Address: No 20, Jalan Inai, Off Jalan Imbi, Imbi, KL.

Opening hours: Daily, 8 am – 6 pm.

** They do not accept RESERVATIONS. Only walk-ins.

Asian & Western Chicken Burger Damansara Uptown Grilled Lamb Skewers Kampung Fried Rice Pork Free

D’Atas Restaurant at Uptown, Damansara Utama, PJ (Pork free)

After a quick stop at Starling Mall recently, as I was rounding the block on my way out, I noticed D’Atas Restaurant. I suppose it is somewhat a new addition to the area. Located on the Ground floor, next to Starbucks, it always seemed lively whenever I’ve driven past it since.

During a recent visit to Starling Mall, I happened to come across D’Atas Restaurant as I was exiting the area. Positioned on the Ground floor, next to Starbucks, this establishment has caught my attention with its buzz of activity. I’ve drive passed it several time since and it looked lively, especially evening onwards. It piqued my interest and upon some checking online, Google review shows an average score of 5/5 from over 140 people. Such a flawless score certainly merits a visit. That was how I found myself here, finally dropping by for a visit.

I dropped by during dinner time and the setting is what I’d refer to as ‘romantic’. It was dimly lit, soft light with yellow glow – it sets the slow and easy going vibe, with an easy flow of conversations.

As for customer service, I do concur with the positive reviews in regards to this aspect. It was good. We were attended to as soon as we stepped in and the waiter was friendly. Chatty without infringing on our privacies and was helpful, assisted us when we needed help with our order.

Menu

Grilled Lamb Skewers, RM 20

This is apparently a crowd favorite and we decided to give it a try. It included 5 sticks of nicely seasoned meat with a soft and juicy texture. If is more than good enough to eat on its own or you can dunk it into the homemade mint sauce that comes on the side. This starter was one we enjoyed.

Classic Chicken Burger, RM 28

The burger was good too. It included grilled homemade chicken patty with melted cheese, egg, onions, tomatoes and pickles topped with sesame buns with a side of cajun fries. It was a tasty dish but as someone who regularly eat burgers at various cafes, the burger has to stand out to get noticed. This was a good burger but did not leave a lasting impression on me. On hindsight, I should have ordered their Curry Laksa instead as I was told that for noodles, that dish is a crowd pleaser. I suppose if you are someone who rarely eats burgers, you might enjoy the dish more than I did.

Kampung Fried Rice, RM 18

This dish I enjoyed, it was delicious. Every spoonful of it was simply divine. The dish consisted of fried rice with chicken, anchovies, belacan and an egg with a side of fish crackers, homemade chili paste and pickled vegetables. It was a good dish, ticked all the flavor and taste boxes for me and is one I had no regrets ordering.

Overall, food was good and so was the customer service and ambiance. If I am in the area again and in the mood for some Curry Laksa, I look forward to trying it here. As I was told that it is their crowd favorite, I assume it would be delicious.

Burger Chicken Nanban Burger Chicken Ochazuke Grey and woody theme Hidden Japanese Fusion Japanese green tea Lei Cha New 2023 Rice Bowl Taman Connaught Cheras Teriyaki Chicken

Shan Mu at Taman Connaught, Cheras – Something different, hidden.

If you happen to be in the area and fancy something a little different, do consider Shan Mu. Especially so if it being hidden excites you even more.

The cafe is located within a row of shops, the same one that also houses the popular Madam Chiam Curry Noodle House. If you simply do a driveby, you’d most likely miss Shan Mu. I did. I had to go around the block twice before locating it. Thanks to its lack of signage, it is not as visible and obvious. Do look out for Kedai Bingkai Cermin KS Golden, Shin Mu is located on the Ground floor.

Once you step inside, there is an air of exclusivity. There is a large, heavy wooden door at the entrance and the minute you are in, you are literally shut out from the outside world. It offered me a different feel in the sense that while the area is filled with eateries, Shan Mu is different .. the ambiance, the food offered and etc. This isnt just a basic restaurant.

The color theme inside is grey and brown. Grey cement colored walls with wood here and there. The space did not seem like it is meant to handle crowd. Despite the large space, there were about 7 tables of varying sizes made of solid wood. The table I sat on was large, it literally looked with a slab of wood cut out of a tree, polished and made into this table. I enjoyed looking at it 😁

Menu

Chicken Nanban Burger, RM 20

I initially wanted their Cured Salmon Sandwich but sadly, it was not available. In fact, most of their sandwiches were not available due to their sourdough bread being out of stock. They did offer to use burger buns instead but I figured that a sandwich is best eaten with sourdough and so, tge sandwiches were given a miss this time.

Instead, I opted to go for their burger. Size-wise, it is on the small side but tastewise, delicious. Crispy, chewy, thick flavorful chicken patty topped with egg mayo and sandwiched by soft buttery burger buns with a side of salad. It was tasty but small, hardly enough to satisfy my hunger. 😅

Chicken Ochazuke, RM 25

I thought this was a rice bowl. Well, it was but more accurately, it was lei cha. For some reason, this compared to the other lei chas I’ve had, had a more porridge feel to it. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it. If you fancy yourself a healthy dish, you can consider this. Some sort of organic grain rice were used in addiition to Japanese Sencha, green tea. Besides that, the dish also included boneless teriyaki chicken, bonito flakes and soft boiled egg. Be sure to give it a good mix to be able to taste some contrasting flavors coming together.

Overall, it was a good visit to Shan Mu. Would I be back here again? Once in a very blue moon perhaps as I am rarely in the area.

Bells Aloha Burger Chicken Burger Fries Good burgers Halal Open Daily

Burger on 16 @ Imbi, KL – Yup, it still is one of my favorite burger joints (Halal)

I’ve been wanting to drop by Burger on 16 for ages and finally got my chance after a work meet at Berjaya Times Square. If you dont already know where exactly this eatery is located, it is nestled within the row of shops that is located right next to Times Square. From that building, as soon as you are out at the main entrance, all you have to do is walk pass the hotel and walk through the side till you see the row of shop Burger on 16 is located in. Barely a 5 minutes walk. This row of shops also house other eateries like Curee KL and Bestow.

The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. Both options are nicely shaded and well ventilated. So, it is really up to you what you’re in the mood for.

Outdoor seating

I’ve always thought that the wall art in and out of Burger on 16 was pretty cool. They’ve got some Game of Thrones characters on the wall as well as one of Bruce Lee and another of Mohammad Ali.

This would be my 4th time dropping by. As usual, customer service was good and food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The whole experience there was yet again – awesome.

Menu

Bells Aloha (Set), RM 24.80

As I have built quite the appetite by the time I arrived at this burger joint, I figured ordering myself the Set was the way to go. As you’d be able to deduce from their Menu, a Set would include fries and drink.

Oooo man, it was delicious. The patty was thick, moist and flavorful. If you guys are expecting some fancy burgers – this eatery may not be it for you. However, if it is all about the patty for you, then Burger on 16 is the right choice. It was for me. A simple burger where the patty is the star, it speaks for itself. Every bite was yummy.

I’ll be back again, for sure. This is one of my favorite burger joints and it will remain so for a long time. I’ve been visiting them many times over the years and they have been consistently good.

Chicken Burger Oddle Pasta Takeaway/Delivery service Ulam Pesto Pasta

Knowhere @ Bangsar via Oddle – Got my burger fix :)

I’ve been alternating between rice and noodles the past week and I needed a break. Perhaps some burgers or pasta might help change it up a bit. I had several options in mind, restaurants that were nearby and do takeaways, deliveries. So, there I was all excited, going through the whole ordering process right up to the payment section …. and that was where I encountered an issue. My MSOS (Maybank Secure Online Shopping)  apparently had an error, which meant that I could not get the code I needed to proceed with payment. The way to rectify the issue is me having to personally go to a Maybank ATM machine and key in my phone number again. Ugghh. I am not planning to do so anytime soon, especially with the MCO in place, which meant most of the eateries in my list aren’t available because none of them accept cash. Yup, it sucks …. what a time to face this issue, right? Thankfully that did not deter me from scrolling Facebook and Instagram for choices. Eventually, I came across Knowhere.

So there I was, fingers crossed, hoping they’d accept cash and hallelujah – they do! Yesss!

I found Knowhere on Instagram. Now more so than ever, you’d see lots of eateries advertising themselves, half of them having promotions and etc, right? This was how I stumbled upon this eatery and as I scrolled through their images, the food seemed appetizing and it was offering me exactly what I needed, wanted – burger and pasta. I placed an order via Oddle (link in their bio) and it was easy peezy.   After you click on the link, it would bring you to their Menu/ available offerings.

After scrolling through what’s available, I decided on the Ulam Pesto Pasta and the Krispy Burger. Once the items were selected, you’d then be able to select your method of delivery as well as its day and time. Then, you’d be led to the payment page – be sure to key in the promo code “KNWHRDEL19” to be eligible for a 19% off your total bill. You can choose to pay immediately via online or with cash when you’ve received/picked up your order. Due to my credit card issue, I opted to pick up. About 5-10 minutes before my pickup time, a representative from the restaurant gave me a call to inform me that my order. I then made my way there, arrived within the allocated time, I paid the amount due and collected my food. As I said – easy peezy.

Ulam Pesto Pasta + Krispy Burger, 45.17 ringgit

IMG_5987-2NAF03873

The Ulam Pesto Pasta is a rather unique dish. Usually when you see the word ‘pesto’ in anything, you’d anticipate the pleasant combination of basil and olive oil in abundance, right?? Well here, the pasta comes with a twist, an Asian twist to an otherwise Western, European dish. The twist being the influence of ulam and Kaffir Lime. As a result, the pasta had a rather unique taste. Yea, you’d get pesto but on top of that – you’d also get a nice dose of sour-ish tangyness. It was a surprisingly yummy combo. I liked it. Besides the tasty flavors, the Ulam Pesto Pasta also included a generous portion of mushrooms, tomatoes and grated cheese. A flavorful dish overall. I only wished they offered a choice of chicken as an add-on. That would have made this dish super awesome.

The chicken burger was da’ bomb, it certainly satisfied my cravings. Burgers are everywhere but with the outdoor movement  restrictions, it has been rather difficult to sink my teeth into one, sob sob. When I finally did though, I am happy this was my burger of choice. It was big and juicy. You’d get a burger bun on the top  , followed by a slice of ham + a large piece of boneless chicken leg + thick, gooey cheese + roasted vegetables + spiced mayonnaise, finished with another bun at the bottom. It was big, not the kind you’d be able to get the top to bottom in one chew … unless your mouth is exceptionally large. I enjoyed the burger a whole lot. Flavorful and filling it way. Yuuummmm. Oooo, this dish also comes with a side of potato wedges too, in a generous portion.

I am satisfied. Food was delicious and I am full. Don’t mind me now …. I’m gonna go Netflix and chill yaawwww.

Burger on 16 @ Imbi – Yummmm! (Halal)

A week or two ago, we visited Curee – Curee @ Jalan Imbi – Good food, awesome ambiance.  , right? On our way out, as we were driving passed the eatery, we took that opportunity to look around and see if there were other restaurants/cafe that appealed to us. While most of it were occupied by “Mamaks” and the Middle Eastern variety, in the midst of it all was Burger on 16.

PSX_20181029_181714PSX_20181029_181835PSX_20181029_181933PSX_20181029_183713PSX_20181029_183510PSX_20181029_181431

If you are in the city and you really are in need of some quiet, alone time – this would be an eatery to consider. Located just 5-10 minutes away from Berjaya Times Square, Burger on 16 offers you a comfortable and cozy avenue for that much needed ‘get away’ time, especially when all the hustle and bustle of the city life gets to you. I’d say the food here is decently priced too. Some might even say a tad cheaper than whats offered in other cafes and that itself does hold a certain appeal – does it not?

*** In regards to parking – it depends on whether it is your lucky day. When I visited Curee , I parked by the roadside illegally – dont judge me, I was simply following the crowd 😀 Anyways, I did not see any tow trucks roaming around. This time however, there were tow trucks literally roaming, towing cars. We decided to take the risk and parked directly in front the eatery, so that we could keep an eye on it. I am sure you guys know the drill – if ever the tow truck decided today would be the day they make a victim of my car – I’d make a run for it with my car even before they start on the clamping. ** Evil Laugh** Well, you could always park in the building opposite these row of shops or  even park at Times Square, take a slow walk to this eatery. It isnt far at all, no sweat or simply wait around at the side of the road, some one is bound to pull out eventually.

As its name suggest – burgers are the main dish offered here. They also offer chicken wings and other sides in additions to desserts like molten lava cake and milkshakes. Based on the information available online, this eatery is Halal.

Between the combos and a la carte – we opted for the latter. Why? because their most popular burger (Chicken) was not available in the Combo/Set option. I wanted to give their popular burger a try, so a la carte was best + a side of sweet potato fries.  The chicken patty that accompanied the burger was not fried but grilled. It was nicely flavored, with a spread of green secret sauce, it made for a delicious burger. Oh, and the caramelized onions made it awesome. There was also a coat of cheese and pickled vegetables cubes. All these lead to a combination of flavors that somehow worked really well together. It totally make sense why this is one of their popular burgers.

The Sweet Potato Fries were good too. Tasted exactly as it should have and I liked the fact that they cut it into regular sizes. Quite a lot of cafes I’ve come across that offer the sweet potato fries option have them cut in large, thick sizes. It tends to get overwhelming towards the end with a ‘muak’ like effect. When it is cut into smaller sizes, it taste more pleasing? I do not have a better way to explain this, lol. I am sorry.

Anyways, we enjoyed the sweet potato fries quite a bit that we decided to give their regular fries a go. If you’d notice in their Menu – it comes in 4 seasonings and we opted for Spicy.

PSX_20181029_182059

It was yummy, yawww! I dont know if you can see it in the image above  but those fries were sprinkled with chili powder. It was not too spicy but it certainly was different, unique. I liked it very much.

PSX_20181029_182721PSX_20181029_182251

They offer 4 options for buffalo wings and 2 of them are crowd favorites – Honey Mustard, Hot & Spicy , depending on the flavor you fancy. We decided on the Hot & Spicy. Upon tasting it, I LOVE it!! It was really good. It wasnt hot and spicy in a way that cause your tongue to burn or you sweating profusely, not at all. Heck, your eye wont even start tearing. For me at least, no such thing and boy, was I glad. When a dish is really spicy to an extend the tears start flowing and the tongue start burning – you can hardly taste anything. Who wants that, right?

The outside was crunchy with plenty of flavor – spice, chilli, you name it. The meat inside was tender and juicy. Delicious, it was. I’d certainly order it again. Most definitely.

Would I head back here?

Ooooo yesss, I would. Food was awesome.

Chicken Biriyani Chicken Burger desserts Ice Gulla Indian New 2018 Soft Shell Crab

TeeKaapi Indian Cuisine @ Ecosky, Batu Caves -Yumm!

The name ” Teekaapi”  sounded awefully familiar. I did not get it at first. It’s just something that you’d come across if you hang out with Indian folks quite a bit, like I do. A term of some sort? I could not wait around to figure it out and so, I brought it up and my friends educated me. Teekaapi …. Tee and Kaapi  = Tee and Coffee ? Get it? So, TeeKaapi is basically TeaCoffee, pronounced Indian style? Yea, I get it now 🙂 I dont know if this actually is what the owners actually intended for it to mean but this was a valid substitute, lol.

Anyways, this eatery is located in Eco Sky. If I am not mistaken, this is a combination of service apartments/ residences and a mini business park. One side is the residences and the other is low density business lots – 2,3 floors? Yea, one of those.

Parking was easy. They have a Basement car park with plenty of space and it is free. Just remember to validate your ticket on your way out.

I liked the area. From the looks of it, you’d notice that it certainly is new. Plenty of shop lots still vacant but worry not though, they are quite a number that is already occupied.  You’d find some eateries here and there. You would not be bored.  I for one look forward to paying Eco Sky a visit again in a few months, firstly because I like how it feels here and secondly, because it simply is the kind of place that more eateries will open shop at, I look forward to trying out other options here.

20180925_15585620180925_15532220180925_15522120180925_155205

The eatery looked nice. Cozy and modern cafe-ish looking. A perfect blend between Western features with plenty of Indian influences. You’d find similar mix with the food they offer here as well. As you look through their menu, you’d notice that they offer a perfect blend between Indian – briyani, rotis and Western – pasta, burgers. Depending on what you fancy, there is a variety to go for.

20180925_16023420180925_16015420180925_16013220180925_16010620180925_160006

Ice Gulla, 6 ringgit + Koli Briyani, 15 ringgit + Crabby Chick Stack, 22 ringgit

This was suppose to be dessert but I decided to have it as a starter, lol. If you want something light and sweet – do give this a go. The amount is just right, nothing too overwhelmingly heavy. It did not influenced my hunger at all, I went on to ‘hantam’ some briyani and burger 🙂

It basically comprised of Rasgulla on the top with Vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce on the bottom. Rasgulla has a ‘biscuit-ty’ texture and the ice cream with caramel sauce provided a creamy, milky texture. It was a yummy combination. I enjoyed it 🙂

20180925_15580520180925_15575020180925_15555820180925_155613

The briyani was good. You’d get a large pieces of tender, spiced chicken thigh. Some restaurants like ‘drowning’ the rice with gravy, not here though. Despite the dish itself not being laden with gravy, the rice and meat was steamed ? yea, steamed well enough that all the flavors and spiced were already infused well into the items by the time it reached our table. Of course, if you still need visible ‘wetness’, they left some gravy at the bottom of the pot – all you need to do is mix it up. For me, nothing beats Kanna’s – Kannaa’s Masalla Bamboo Briyani @ Kinrara, Puchong – Yummy Briyani! , but this was pretty good, in briyani terms. I’d order it again.

The Crabby Chick Stack – now, this I like lots lots. For 22 ringgit, this was an awesome burger. I do not come across many eatery that serves soft shell crab at 22 ringgit. That is considered rather low/cheap.  Let me break down the items for you. You’d get soft shell crab on the top + burger buns  + lettuce + crispy and tender chicken patty + tomatoes and onions, with a side of fries, for just 22 ringgit. The burger itself was yummy. Do expect a combination of textures and flavors. Some crunch, some chewyness. Nice.

Would I head back here?

Yes, I would. Food here was good and I do like the area. I am certainly heading back here to Eco Sky to check out the other eateries. During those times, whenever I fancy some Indian, will keep TeeKaapi in mind 🙂

Address: Ground Floor, Eco Sky, Taman Wahyu, Batu Caves (You would be able to see the eatery as you are driving round the block, heading to basement carpark.)

Mean Mince @ Mutiara Damansara – The New Burger Joint in Town :)

As mentioned in the heading, this is a new eatery. Officially opened doors last month 🙂

This eatery is located near Mutiara Homes, within an area in Mutiara Damansara I did not even know existed. Not too far from The Curve, about 10 minutes away?

Looks nice, ey? I like it. Old school – ish,  cozy and welcoming. Customer service was good. I was attended to by Ms/Mrs Wong, who happens to be the owner’s auntie. She was uber friendly and attentive. It wasn’t just me that was showered with attention though, every other table that had customers – she was sure to check up on them from time to time for some chat.  It was a much welcomed change from the usual.

**and oooooo, did I mention that I got a complementary serving of ‘healthy’ popcorn ?? I think I love them even more 🙂

20180917_162606

As you can see, they offer about 7 varieties of burger. Most of it consist of beef meat. I was told that if you are looking for something unusual, something different taste-wise – go for their MM Deep Fried Burger. It is a crowd favorite. However, if you fancy chicken, you can opt for ‘Monster’ Buffalo Chicken Burger, which was what I did.

Everything here was delicious. Let’s start with the burger, shall we? The burger itself look simple. There was no greens and onions, tomatoes or any other filling that a burger is usually stuffed with. Nope, not here. Here, it is as simple as it gets – a chicken patty (minced and deep fried) + spicy buffalo sauce + blue cheese. Simple, right? Worry not though because the flavors are guaranteed to satisfy you. It sure did for me, I did not find it lacking even a bit. I must say, I liked the bread they used too. If you noticed, it is not the usual rounded burger buns, I think it was Panini? It was lightly toasted, coated with spicy buffalo sauce – which had an equilibrium between sweetness and spicyness. Then, add in the chicken patty – oooo, heaven. It certainly was a delicious burger. I loved every bite of it.

For chicken wings, they offered 2 options – Barbecue and Buffalo Chicken Wings. When asked what is the difference between the both, I was told that Buffalo Chicken Wings was the more spicy one between the two and that the Barbecue Chicken Wings were kiddy/ children friendly. I wanted something spicy, so Buffalo Chicken Wings it is. Man,was it good. Finger lickin’ good, yawwwww. 6 tender, juicy wings that came coated in spicy sauce. The spicy sauce was the bomb! I think it had a combination of tomato puree and chilli? I dont know, I was too busy munching on those wings to even focus on what it was made up of. Love, love, loveeeed it! Worth every penny 🙂

Would I head back here?

Yes, I certainly would. I really enjoyed their food. I would definitely be heading back here soon.

RGB Coffee at the Bean Hive at Kampung Datuk Keramat, KL -I am Loving it (Pork free)

I was at the KL City Centre today and it so happened that RGB was located along Jalan Damai, an area close to where I was. So, RGB was where I decided to have lunch.

One reason reason why I liked RGB was because it is located in a neighborhood that has not been commercialized yet. No doubt that there are several other ‘businesses’ /companies nearby but everything is located and operated from houses – single story, double story houses with loads of land. So much greens all around and ample parking. RGB operates in a single story house, on a large plot of land as displayed in the image above. It looks like an ordinary house, the kind that people live in. It does not scream ‘This is a Cafe”. The only giveaway that this house may be more of an organization as oppose to a home was that there was plenty of cars parked at the front. Without that telling sign and of course – Waze, it is unlikely that you would suspect the house above as being home to RGB. The is no large signage that states “RGB”.  It fits right in with its surrounding. I love it. Loads of greens, surrounding is well maintained and very clean, there almost never is a problem with traffic and people are friendly.

As you open the door and enter, you will be at the counter. Here, you take a look at the menu and order whatever you fancy. Then you proceed to a veranda like area, the kind you have in the middle of a house, where plenty of sunlight goes in, yea.

Once you are in the veranda, here you decide if you wanna sit where the crowd usually sits while enjoying the sunlight or you prefer a more quiet setting, an air conditioned room that allows more privacy.

Chicken Burger, 28 ringgit

20170110_142453

The burger was great. It is what it is called – a Chicken Burger, lol. You get a relatively large chunk of chicken patty – chicken thigh that is fried and seasoned well and crunchy. Add in some mustard sauce, mayonnaise, chili sauce, soft burger buns, greens + Fries + salad on the side, and you have yourself a good burger. No complains.

Basil & Olive Fried Rice + Chicken, 21 ringgit

This was really delicious. It basically consisted of brown rice, tofu, basil, marinated olives ,raisins, and chicken slices. It was sooooooo good and did I mentioned – healthy! It contained a burst of flavors – spiciness, sweetness, crunchiness. The Basil & Olive Fried Rice  certainly made my day. If you fancy yourself a localized version of healthy fried rice – then go for this. It really is that good.

Would I head there again?

If I am in the area, then I sure will. It is a nice place to unwind and have some good food.
