We recently had the opportunity to visit an ice cream parlour located in Seksyen 17, Petaling Jaya. Having been around for several years, this ice cream shop was honored with the title of one of Malaysia’s leading ice cream brands in 2020. Catering to a wide range of preferences, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic varieties are available, ensuring there is a delightful treat for every visitor.

This ice cream parlour is located on the first floor, within the same row of shops that houses Kanna Curry House and Omulab. Depending on your time of visit, acquiring a parking spot may or may not be difficult.

As previously mentioned, Minus 4 Degrees offers a good range of ice cream options, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties. The carefully curated selection of flavors ensures that there is something to suit everyone’s taste. For those seeking non-alcoholic options, you can expect unique flavors such as Yuzu, Cempedak Sorbet, Mango Passionfruit Lychee, Japanese Mugwort, and more. On the other hand, if you prefer alcoholic ice cream, Minus 4 Degrees also offers delightful combinations like ice cream infused with Baileys, Hennessy and etc.. Indulge in these exquisite frozen treats and savor the delectable blend of flavors.
Sea Salt Macadamia, RM 12
I chose the non-alcoholic ice cream on this occasion, specifically a scoop of Sea Salt Macadamia. The sweetness was not overpowering, and the texture was smooth and velvety. There were fewer nuts than desired, but the overall taste was enjoyable. I particularly appreciated the inclusion of butterscotch.
Good to know that there is another ice cream shop in Seksyen 17. Whenever I am in the area and in the mood for this particular dessert, I know where to head to.
