A recent addition to the food and beverage scene in Damansara Jaya is O’Muffin. At just over a week old, the establishment is currently in its soft launch stage. Although the menu is limited in size, it provides a range of options to cater to various tastes. The primary offerings at O’Muffin are English Muffins and Scones. With its doors opening as early as 7:30 a.m., O’Muffin is an ideal breakfast spot, especially for early risers looking to satisfy their hunger.

We were considering the options of Personal Best (chicken patty) and Awesome (fried chicken thigh), and ultimately opted for Personal Best. Upon learning that it featured their own unique take on a chicken patty, our decision was solidified.
If you prefer your muffin sandwich to have a slightly gooey and dense texture, you can opt to add cheese for an additional RM 2. Upon initial inspection, the muffin sandwich may not appear substantial, but its size should not be underestimated. By the time you take the last bite, you will likely feel full.
The sandwich consists of a homemade chicken patty, an egg, lettuce, and cheese nestled between soft English Muffin. In terms of flavor, it’s quite straightforward and simple, lacking in extravagant, bold flavors. The patty itself is mildly flavored, to the extent that a little chili sauce might enhance its taste; however, when consumed as part of the muffin sandwich, it surprisingly complements the other ingredients. It is good as it is, its simplistic flavors are a contrast to the bombastic flavors we usually come across nowadays. That being said, I still think some chili sauce will make the dish even better.
Would I head back here? Sure, why not. If I am in the area and fancy having some muffin sandwich, I would not mind dropping by.
