Food here was goooood, very good. It surpassed my expectations, truly. I can’t say I’ve had much experience with this particular cuisine. Whatever I have, is limited to Korean Fried Chicken and some Kimchi Fried Rice once in a blue moon. So yea, it has been a while and I was looking forward to indulging in some Korean yumminess.
We visited during lunch hour and there were lots of people. Customers kept coming and for a minute there, I was kindda worried that food would take some time to arrive but it took barely 7 minutes or so. I was surprised and relieved as I wouldn’t have to rush off to my next meeting. Yay!

Kimchi Fried Rice with Donkas, 25 ringgit + Donkas Cheese Ramyun, 20 ringgit
Donkas is basically pork cutlet. You’d notice in the Menu, that some options with or without donkas, depending on your choice …… have it with the donkas, guys because it is delicious. It looks and is perhaps cooked in a similar fashion to chicken katsu. The difference is in its texture – it still is crispy on the outside but a lot softer on the inside and a lot thicker too. Simply having it on its own was sooo yummy. It was combination between a nugget, cutlet and a katsu – yummm!
The Donkas Cheese Ramyun was da bomb. There was a good dose of cheese on the top of the noodles that gave it a nice gooey,thick texture. Simply having it on its own was delicious but having it with some spicy broth was finger licking good. Then, there was the donkas – which I decided to have on its own. It was part crispy and part soggy due to being submerged in the broth. It simply was lovely.
The Kimchi Fried Rice was equally as yummy. The rice was gooey and sticky, with the kimchi flavor evident. The rice came with an egg, coleslaw and a generous portion of donkas – yum!
Both dishes came with a side of kimchi + pickled radish? + a glass of Ice Lemon Tea. There literally is nothing else to say except that I was truly satisfied with my experience here. Food was delicious, ambiance was awesome, company was great.

donkas lab menu is a really good toppoki where u can never find anywhere else. Donkas is also crispy yet juicy, And I’m just very happy that they can cater to ppl who can’t take spicy food! Rose jjampong is super good too.
