Santouits Sandwich Bar @ Imbi, KL - Tasty sandwiches

Today, we ‘bungkus’ lunch from this sandwich cafe. Previously when I dropped by Plan B at TRX, I drove passed this eatery, recalled seeing a review online regarding its sandwiches and made a note to drop by in the future. Fast forward 2 months later, here I am.

You can most probably deduce from its name as well as the blue-white theme, that the cafe has Greek influence? You are right. The owners’ husband is Greek. Santouits is a cute, cosy little cafe located along Jalan Barat, opposite the Prudential Tower at TRX. As the eatery is located by the roadside, parking can be difficult. However, since only takeaways are allowed for now, I simply parked by the road side with my emergency lights on. Then, headed in to place my order and waited for it. As I am parked directly outside the restaurant, I can keep an eye on my car and not have to worry about ‘saman’ .

ATM, RM 21 + Chick-Pest-O, RM 25

ATM is a tuna sandwich. You can opt for the sandwich on its own or add on fries with an additional RM3. I added on the fries. I like the sandwich, it tasted good. There was a nice amount of tuna spread served on sourdough, with some cheese and tomatoes. According to the menu, there was suppose to be some apples in the tuna spread too but I cant say that I tasted any of it 🤔🤔. Anyways, overall, a tasty sandwich. The fries was a good add on, well flavored and crunchy.

The Chick-Pest-O is a pesto chicken sandwich. It consisted of a nice portion of grilled chicken served on sourdough with mozzarella cheese and a spread of pesto. I generally like alot of pesto whenever I order a pesto dish, which was not the case here. This however is based on personal preferences, so I cant really fault them for it. I just like lots of pesto. This aside, I liked that the chicken came in a generous portion, with lots of cheese too. Overall, an enjoyable sandwich.
