We ended up at Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park for lunch today. If you are familiar with the area, you’d know that this particular area is filled with restaurants, primarily of the Chinese variety. You’d be spoilt for choices here. The last time we were here, we ended up having lunch at AM Town Kopitiam – AM Town Kopitiam at Kuchai Lama – Niceee . This time, we decided to give another kopitiam a try. Nine Canteen is relatively new at 2 months old and they serve local favorites like Nasi Lemak, Curry Mee, Mee Siam, Roti Bakar and etc.
We arrive just after lunch hour to a somewhat crowded restaurant. There were two options to place your order – via a QR code (online) or by getting one of the waiters attention. We opted to use the QR code and it was easy breezy. Food arrived surprisingly fast, less than 10 minutes.

Signature Fried Radish Cake, RM 8.90 + Mee Siam Ayam Berempah, RM 14.90 + Hainan Toast with Kaya & Butter, RM 3.90 + Iced Kopi, RM 4
The Signature Fried Radish Cake was the first dish to arrive, together with the Ice Coffee. Both this items we ordered because pretty much all the other tables had the same dishes on theirs. This led us to believe that it was good. Was it though? Yul, it was. Delicious. It included a generous amount of radish cake with taugeh and fried eggs.
The Hainan Toast was a starter. While they were generous with their butter, the kaya spread was limited. It would have been awesome if my toast had a little more kaya to it.
The Mee Siam wit Ayam Goreng Berempah, cost RM 14.90, with an additional RM 1.50 for the egg. It was tasty. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered here.
